FOX ENTERTAINMENT STUDIOS INKS FIRST-LOOK DEAL WITH GOLDEN GLOBE-WINNING AND ACADEMY AWARD AND EMMY-NOMINATED POWERHOUSE TARAJI P. HENSON'S TPH ENTERTAINMENT
Pact Marks Henson's Return to FOX and her First Term Deal
under the TPH Entertainment Banner for Scripted and Unscripted
Los Angeles, CA - Golden Globe-winning and Academy Award and Emmy-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson along with her TPH Entertainment has entered into a multiyear first-look agreement with FOX Entertainment Studios (FES). Under this partnership, Henson will serve as executive producer and content originator for both scripted and unscripted television programming, spanning comedy, drama, and reality formats. Henson is celebrated for her iconic role as Cookie Lyon on FOX's hit series Empire, which earned her an Emmy nomination and a Golden Globe Award.
Henson alongside Jamila Jordan-Theus, Head of Development and Production at TPH Entertainment, and their team will hit the ground running, developing a slate of groundbreaking scripted and unscripted projects for FOX Entertainment Studios.

Taraji P. Henson is an Academy Award-nominated actor, producer, #1 New York Times best-selling author, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate whose influence extends far beyond the screen. Known for her EMMY-nominated and Golden Globe-winning portrayal of Cookie Lyon on Empire and acclaimed performances in The Color Purple, Hidden Figures, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Henson continues to shape culture through powerful storytelling. Most recently, she starred in Netflix's Straw and Peacock's record-breaking Fight Night. Her Broadway debut alongside Cedric the Entertainer in Debbie Allen's Joe Turner's Come and Gone marks her latest creative chapter, following a Tony Award nomination for producing Jaja's African Hair Braiding.
