HBO Renews Original Drama Series TASK, From Emmy-Nominated Creator Brad Ingelsby, For A Second Season

· During today's press presentation in New York City, Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO, HBO and HBO Max Content, announced the HBO Original drama series TASK, starring Emmy(R) winner Mark Ruffalo, has been renewed for a second season. From creator Brad Ingelsby ("Mare of Easttown"), HBO's TASK has received wide acclaim for its gripping writing and directing and outstanding performances from its ensemble cast. All episodes are available to stream on HBO Max.

· Season 1 of TASK is among HBO's top three fastest-growing, debut seasons.

· GQ called TASK "the show of the year" while Entertainment Weekly praised the show's "phenomenal cast," and The Wall Street Journal described the series as "one of the year's best crime thrillers."
