BAYWATCH (FOX) - The revival has added the following actors to recur: Ashley Moore as Jasmine, "a rookie lifeguard with a lot of skills and even more attitude"; Kylar Miranda as Diego, "an experienced lifeguard from East LA, the handyman of the Baywatch team"; Luke Eisner as Koya, "Luke's (Noah Beck) best friend among the rookies"; Nadia Gray as Lisa, "an EMT on the team assigned to the beach, she's a partner to the Baywatch team and friends with everyone"; and Charlie McElveen as Ethan, "a handsome and successful lawyer." BERLIN NOIR (Apple TV+) - The Jack Lowden/Colin Firth-led adaptation of Philip Kerr's book series has cast Jessica Gunning as Bertha Herzner; Maxine Peake as Mila Gilhausen; Daniel Mays as Hari Voss; Sam Riley as Robert Lanz; Roger Allam as Ernst Gennat; Liz Kingsman as Rosa Bauer; and Carys Daniels as Dora Meysel. BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: NEW SUNNYDALE (Hulu) - Star/executive producer Sarah Michelle Gellar took to social media on Saturday with the news the streamer has passed on the revival pilot. (@sarahmgellar, 3/14)
ELSBETH (CBS) - Patti LuPone, Michael Urie, and Erich Bergen are among the latest guest stars bound for the series. LuPone plays Ruby Lane, "a legendary New York cabaret performer who makes her home in the hotel where she sings"; with Urie as Monty Blakemont III, "a dashing art connoisseur and philanthropist, whose enthusiasms are genuine though his financial resources are suspect"; and Bergen plays Otis Langley, "a TV personality and celebrity reporter with a charming smile and a nasty reputation." FINLAY DONOVAN IS KILLING IT (Peacock, New!) - Lang Fisher is developing a new comedy at the streamer based on Elle Cosimano's novel of the same name: "Based on the book by Cosimano, Finlay Donovan Is Killing It follows a struggling novelist and single mom on the verge of losing custody of her kids, who is mistaken for an assassin and offered life-changing money for one kill." Both will executive produce alongside Tina Fey, Eric Gurian, and David Mine for the Universal Television-based Little Stranger. (Deadline.com, 3/17)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Former cast member Jake Borelli will make his TV directorial debut with the show's April 2 episode. He will however not act in the installment. (Deadline.com, 3/20)
HIGH POTENTIAL/HOW TO SURVIVE WITHOUT ME/HUNDRED PERCENT, A/I LOVE LA/I SUCK AT GIRLS/PITT, THE/PRESIDENT CURTIS/ROOSTER/SCHOOLED!/STEWIE (Various) - The aforementioned projects are among the 16 latest to receive tax incentives to film in or relocate to California. (Deadline.com, 3/18)
LAST OF US, THE (HBO) - Michelle Mao, Kyriana Kratter, Jason Ritter, and Patrick Wilson have all booked roles on the show's third season while Ariela Barer's Mel, Tati Gabrielle's Nora, and Spencer Lord's Owen will return as regulars. Mao and Kratter will play Seraphites Yara and Lev, respectively. Ritter then is Hanley, "a WLF soldier"; with Wilson as Jerry, "Abby's (Kaitlyn Dever) father." (Deadline.com, 3/20)
LIFE IS STRANGE (Amazon) - Karyn Kusama will direct and executive produce the first two installments of the video-turned-TV series via her Familystyle production banner. (Variety.com, 3/18)
LINCOLN LAWYER, THE (Netflix) - Cobie Smulders's Artemisia "Emi" Finch has been promoted to regular for the show's fifth season, which has also added Diane Guerrero as Natalia; Teresa Maria as Tina Perez; Richard Cabral as Benny Perez; Steve Howey as Brian Cunningham; Patty Guggenheim as Allison Finch; Corbin Bernsen as Richard Finch; Chris Diamantopoulos as Frank Silver; and Iker Garcia as Rafa Wagner. MORNING SHOW, THE (Apple TV) - Jesse Williams has signed onto the series as Vernon, "UBN's newest Head of News, who is known as a brash pot-stirrer with a talent for grabbing and keeping an audience." (Deadline.com, 3/17)
POWERS (Netflix, New!) - Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming's comic series is being developed as an adult animated series at the streamer: "Combining the tropes of the superhero genre with the police procedural genre, Powers follows two Chicago homicide detectives, Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, who work in cases involving super powers." The property was previously adapated into a live-action series for the now defunct PlayStation Network with Sharlto Copley and Susan Heyward as the leads. Bendis himself is penning the script with Oeming participating in the visual development. Both will executive produce alongside Dark Horse Entertainment's Keith Goldberg and Chris Tongue. REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MIAMI, THE (Bravo) - The reality franchise has once again "hit pause" after seven seasons. The show previously went dark in 2013 only to return in 2021 for two more seasons before moving back to Bravo in 2023. (Deadline.com, 3/18)
REASONABLE DOUBT (Hulu) - Taylor Polidore Williams has been cast in the show's fourth season in a top secret role. (Deadline.com, 3/19)
ROCKFORD FILES, THE (NBC) - Felix Solis has been added to the David Boreanaz-led drama pilot as "Rockford's (Boreanaz) best friend, Nitty, who turned his life around and became a successful South L.A. defense attorney. He stayed in the neighborhood to help effect change." (Deadline.com, 3/18)
SECRET LIVES OF MORMON WIVES, THE (Hulu) - Filming on the series has been suspended following allegations of domestic assault which "involve Taylor Frankie Paul, widely considered the leader of the show's #MomTok movement, and her ex Dakota Mortensen, who is also regularly on the show, including in Season 4." Paul is also the focus of the new season of ABC's "The Bachelorette," which was pulled on Thursday. (Deadline.com, 3/16)
UNTITLED DEL TREDICI AND GOOR PROJECT (NBC) - Langston Kerman, Mary Shalaby, and Jane Levy are the latest additions to the Jake Johnson-led comedy pilot. Kerman is playing Justin Royal, "a great big teddy bear of a man and works as a private investigator at an agency run by his father, Julius Royal (Keith David)." Shalaby then is Raya, "the flagrantly disinterested receptionist at the Grant Taggart PI Agency." And Levy is Faye, "who is smart, resourceful, and a force of nature. Faye is a whip-smart investigative journalist." (Variety.com, 3/20)
WHAT THE DEAD KNOW (NBC) - Lorenza Izzo has been cast in the Taylor Schilling-led drama pilot as Det. Danielle Castillo, "a computer crimes specialist with the NYPD who has recently been reassigned to homicide." (Deadline.com, 3/17)
YELLOWJACKETS (Showtime) - Jenna Burgess's teen Melissa has been promoted to regular for the series' final season. (Deadline.com, 3/18)
