Prime Video Shares First Look at "The Devil's Hour" Series Three
The UK Original series stars Jessica Raine, Peter Capaldi and Nikesh Patel
Series Three will launch exclusively on Prime Video on 4th December
Prime Video has unveiled the first look at season three of the supernatural thriller The Devil's Hour, which will launch exclusively on Prime Video on 4 December.
The series, nominated for an International Emmy, stars Jessica Raine (Two Weeks in August, Informer), Peter Capaldi (Criminal Record, The Thick of It), Nikesh Patel (Starstruck, How to Get to Heaven from Belfast), Phil Dunster (Ted Lasso, Rooster), Meera Syal (Yesterday, Goodness Gracious Me) and Saffron Hocking (Hit Point, Top Boy).
Life is a scratched record, looping, over and over again. Most of us don't remember living our lives before, but Lucy Chambers (Jessica Raine) has woken up. Lucy remembers her life as a police detective, when she failed to prevent a series of terrorist acts. She remembers Gideon Shepherd (Peter Capaldi), the serial killer who warned her the attacks were coming. She remembers her next life, when she gave birth to Isaac (Benjamin Chivers) - an anomalous soul who became unbound to his own reality. Now she has been born again - neither a mother nor a police officer - but haunted by the memories of both. With only Gideon to turn to, Lucy teams up with her old foe to hunt down the monstrous child-killer who has evaded her across multiple lifetimes. Gideon teaches Lucy how to harness her memories. He shows her how to adapt, how to fight and how to survive. But will any of it be enough when their enemy knows just as much as they do? In the end, it will take a miracle to stop him.
The five-part third season is produced by award-winning Hartswood Films (Douglas is Cancelled, Dracula, Sherlock). Created and written by Tom Moran, the series is executive produced by Sue Vertue, Tom Moran and Steven Moffat, produced by Lawrence Till and directed by Johnny Allan and Shaun James Grant. All five episodes will launch exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories on 4 December. Series one and two are available now.
