Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "This Is Us" Continue Their Reign

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/29/16):

NBC (9.727 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1) was the winning broadcaster on Tuesday with its mix of "The Voice" (10.604 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #3), "This Is Us" (10.562 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.7, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (8.016 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #4).

CBS (8.528 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then took home the silver despite a repeat lineup of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" (9.452 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2), "NCIS" (9.273 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #8) and "Bull" (6.861 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #12).

Next up was ABC (4.118 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) with originals from "The Middle" (6.602 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #5), "American Housewife" (5.570 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.4, #7), "Fresh Off the Boat" (4.192 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #9), "The Real O'Neals" (3.332 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10) and "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.506 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T13).

Meanwhile, The CW (2.576 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up originals from "The Flash" (4.087 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.5, #6) and "No Tomorrow" (1.066 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.4, #16).

And finally, FOX (1.725 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5) closed out the evening with "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.356 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10), "New Girl" (1.861 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T13) and "Scream Queens" (1.341 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.5, #15).

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.4/5 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.5/4 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (12/1/15):

NBC (10.075 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1) was still the top draw on Tuesday thanks to its trio of "The Voice" (11.988 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1), "Chicago Med" (9.765 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #3) and "Chicago Fire" (8.474 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #4).

The silver then went to CBS (6.571 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) and its repeat lineup of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" (9.010 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2), "Limitless" (4.917 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8) abd "NCIS: New Orleans" (5.787 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10).

Next up was ABC (3.409 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) and originals from "The Muppets" (3.784 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8), "Fresh Off the Boat" (3.647 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #7) and "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (3.819 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #6) plus a repeat "Shark Tank" (2.692 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10).

Meanwhile, The CW (2.721 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) served up part one of its "Arrow" crossover with "The Flash" (3.861 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #5) and a new "iZombie" (1.581 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #15).
