CBS WINS MONDAY IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOGRAPHICS FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK

In Its New Time Period, "The Class" Builds On Its "How I Met Your Mother" Lead-In Among Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

"CSI: Miami" Dominates Its Time Period in Viewers and Demos

"Two and a Half Men" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine" Are First in Viewers and Strong Second in Adults 18-49

CBS placed first in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the second consecutive Monday, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 9.

Editors Note: Preliminary ratings include time period averages for local coverage of the Baltimore Ravens vs. Denver Broncos football game in both the Baltimore and Denver markets and are subject to change.

The 8:00 PM premiere of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (6.4/10), viewers (9.73m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10).

In its new time period at 8:30 PM, THE CLASS was second in households (6.5/10), viewers (10.05m), adults 25-54 (4.5/10) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09). THE CLASS built on its lead-in by +2% in households, +5% in adults 25-54, +3% in adults 18-49 and added +320,000 viewers (+3%).

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (10.9/16), viewers (17.12m), adults 25-54 (7.0/15) and a strong second in adults 18-49 (5.4/13).

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (9.0/13), viewers (13.71m), second in adults 25-54 (5.8/12) and adults 18-49 (4.3/10).

At 10PM, CSI MIAMI was first in households (11.7/19), viewers (17.93m), adults 25-54 (7.4/17), adults 18-49 (5.9/15) and adults 18-34 (4.3/12).

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.4/15), viewers (14.41m), adults 25-54 (6.1/14) and adults 18-49 (4.8/12).

Final Monday ratings will be available this afternoon.

CBS placed first in viewers for the third consecutive week, first in adults 25-54 for the fourth Monday this season and a strong second in adults 18-49 (-0.1 behind NBC) according to live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Oct. 9.

The 8:00 PM premiere of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (5.9/09), viewers (9.09m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10).

Compared to last week's time period delivery, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +9% in households (from 5.4/09), +27% in adults 25-54 (from 3.3/09), +26% in adults 18-49 (from 2.7/08) and added +1.21m viewers (from 9.09m, +19%).

In its new time period at 8:30 PM, THE CLASS was second in households (6.0/09), viewers (9.34m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09). THE CLASS built on its lead-in by +2% in both households and adults 25-54, +3% in adults 18-49 and added +260,000 viewers (+3%).

THE CLASS was up +11% in households, +30% in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and added +1.46m viewers (+19%) from its 8PM delivery last week.

THE CLASS delivered its best households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 performances since premiere week.

The new scheduling combination for the comedies improved CBS's 8:00-9:00 PM time period by +7% in viewers, +6% in adults 18-49 and +11% in adults 25-54 compared to last week.

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (10.4/15), viewers (16.38m), adults 25-54 (6.7/15) and a strong second in adults 18-49 (5.2/13). This is TWO AND A HALF MEN's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 18-49 since March 20, 2006.

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (8.4/13), second in viewers (12.88m), adults 25-54 (5.4/12) and adults 18-49 (4.1/10).

At 10PM, CSI MIAMI was first in households (11.5/19), viewers (17.61m), adults 25-54 (7.3/17), adults 18-49 (5.7/14) and adults 18-34 (4.1/11). CSI: MIAMI more than doubled the delivery of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" in households (vs. 5.7/09, +102%) and viewers (vs. 8.66m, +103%) and enjoyed double digit percentage advantages in adults 25-54 (vs. 4.1/10, +78%), adults 18-49 (vs. 3.7/09, +54%) and adults 18-34 (vs. 3.3/09, +24%).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (13.82m), adults 25-54 (5.9/13) and a strong second in adults 18-49 (4.6/12, -0.1 behind NBC).
