Saturday's Minnesota/Dallas Game 4 on TBS, truTV & HBO Max Is Most Watched First Round Game on TNT Sports Ever, Excluding Game 7s

TNT Sports Generating its Most Watched Stanley Cup Playoffs on Record, with Viewership Up 67% vs. Last Season

TNT Sports continues to deliver strong audience gains for the 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Minnesota's Game 4 victory over Dallas on Saturday averaged 1.9 million viewers on TBS, truTV and HBO Max, up 127% vs. last year's comparable window and the most watched First Round game on TNT Sports ever, excluding Game 7s. The game peaked at 2.3 million viewers at 8 p.m. ET.

Later that night, Game 4 of Pittsburgh-Philadelphia averaged 1.8 million viewers on TBS, truTV and HBO Max - up 86% vs. last year's comparable window -  as Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang both scored to help the Penguins stave off elimination. The game peaked with 2 million viewers at 9:30 p.m.

TNT Sports' Sunday doubleheader of Game 4s on TNT, truTV and HBO Max - Buffalo/Boston and Colorado/Los Angeles -  averaged 1.2 million viewers, up 67% vs. last season's comparable game windows.

Overall, TNT Sports' coverage of the 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs across TNT, TBS, truTV and HBO Max is averaging 1.1 million viewers, up 67% vs. last season and its best start for the NHL playoffs since acquiring NHL hockey rights in 2021.

TNT Sports' coverage of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs presented by GEICO will continue tonight, with Game 5 of the Boston Bruins at Buffalo Sabres at 7:30 p.m., followed by Game 5 of Anaheim Ducks at Edmonton Oilers at 10 p.m., both on TNT, truTV and HBO Max.
