CBS placed first in all key measures, finishing first in adults 18-49 (tie) for the first time this season while extending its viewer and adult 25-54 winning streak to four, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 15, week four of the 2006-2007 season.

CBS had five of the week's Top 10 programs in viewers, including all three editions of CSI (CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION #2, CSI: NY # 6, CSI: MIAMI, #7).

For the week in viewers, CBS (13.38m) beat ABC (11.49m), NBC (10.33m) and FOX (8.18m). Season-to-date in viewers, CBS (13.09m) is also first, followed by ABC (11.74m), NBC (10.51m) and FOX (7.63m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (5.2/13, for the fourth consecutive week) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (4.0/11, with ABC). This is CBS's first first-place finish in adults 18-49 this season. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 and second in adults 18-49 (just -0.1 behind ABC).

For the week in households, CBS (8.6/14) enjoyed a +15% advantage over ABC (7.5/12), +30% over NBC (6.6/11) and +54% over FOX (5.6/09). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.4/14), outpacing ABC by +11% (7.6/12), NBC by +24% (6.8/11) and FOX by +68% (5.0/08).

WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS:

? In its new time period, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (5.9/09), viewers (9.09m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10). Compared to last week's time period delivery, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +9% in households (from 5.4/09), +27% in adults 25-54 (from 3.3/09), +26% in adults 18-49 (from 2.7/08) and added +1.21m viewers (from 7.88m, +19%).

? In its first broadcast in the new time period, THE CLASS was second in households (6.0/09), viewers (9.34m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09). THE CLASS delivered its best households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 performances since premiere week. THE CLASS built on its lead-in by +2% in both households and adults 25-54, +3% in adults 18-49 and added +250,000 viewers (+3%).

? JERICHO was second in households (6.9/11), viewers (10.86m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). Compared to last week, JERICHO was up +1% in households (from 6.8/11) and up slightly in viewers (from 10.83m).

? CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (11.0/17), in a virtual tie for first in viewers (16.73m, -160,000 behind "Lost") and a strong second in adults 25-54 (6.2/14) and adults 18-49 (4.5/11). From 9:30-10:00PM, CRIMINAL MINDS beat "Lost" in viewers (17.29m vs. 16.56m, +4%).

-- CRIMINAL MINDS finished in its closest competitive position ever against a first run episode of "Lost" in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and this is the first time CRIMINAL MINDS ever topped a first run "Lost" in households. This is the best delivery for CRIMINAL MINDS against a first run episode of "Lost" ever in both households and viewers and since 1/11/06 in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

? CSI: NY was first in households (11.6/19), viewers (17.97m), adults 25-54 (7.2/18) and adults 18-49 (6.0/16). This is CSI: NY's best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 11/9/05 (the cross-over with CSI: MIAMI). Compared to last week, CSI: NY was up +13% in households (from 10.3/17), +20% in adults 25-54 (from 6.0/15), +22% in adults 18-49 (from 4.9/14) and added +2.24m viewers (from 15.73m, +14%).

? SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS won its time slot in viewers (15.84m), adults 25-54 (6.8/17), adults 18-49 (5.5/15) and for the first time since "Ugly Betty" premiered, first in households (9.4/15, tied with ABC). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS was up +8% in adults 18-34 (3.9/12 from 3.6/11), +1% in adults 25-54 (from 6.7/17) and even in households and viewers (from 15.82m).

-- SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS topped "Ugly Betty" for the third consecutive week in adults 18-49 (vs. 4.3/12, +28%), adults 25-54 (vs. 5.1/13, +33%), viewers (vs. 13.95m, +1.89m viewers or +14%).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was second in households (13.5/20), viewers (21.85m), adults 25-54 (9.1/20) and adults 18-49 (7.5/18). Compared to last week, CSI is up +1% in adults 25-54 (from 9.0/20), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 7.3/18) and +10% in adults 18-34 (5.5/15 from 5.0/14). CSI narrowed the gap with "Grey's Anatomy" compared to last week in adults 18-49 (-1.9 this week from -2.1 last week).

? SHARK was second in households (9.1/15), viewers (14.15m, -430,000 viewers behind NBC), adults 25-54 (5.2/13) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). Compared to last week, SHARK is up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/12), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 3.8/10) and added +400,000 viewers (from 13.75m, +3%).

? 60 MINUTES (7:23-8:23 PM) posted an 11.3/18 with 17.28m viewers, 5.7/14 in adults 25-54 and 4.5/12 in adults 18-49. 60 MINUTES was first in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 from 7:30-8:30PM. This is 60 MINUTES best delivery in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since 1/8/06.

? THE AMAZING RACE 10 (8:23-9:23 PM) posted a 7.2/11 with 11.65m viewers, 5.0/11 in adults 25-54, 4.0/09 in adults 18-49 and 3.1/08 in adults 18-34. This is the best performance for THE AMAZING RACE in adults 25-54 since 2/28/06 (the premiere of THE AMAZING RACE 9) and matches season highs in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
