The CW Posts Double-Digit Week-to-Week Growth on Tuesday

November 29, 2006 (Burbank, CA) -- "Veronica Mars" delivered its best ratings ever in adults 18-34 (2.0/6) and adults 18-49 (1.6/4-tie), and "Gilmore Girls" climbed to new season highs in adults 18-34 (2.5/8) and adults 18-49 (2.2/6), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Tuesday, Nov. 28.

The CW posted its best Tuesday to date in all categories, including adults 18-34 (2.3/7), women 18-34 (3.2/8), adults 18-49 (1.9/5), women 18-49 (2.6/6) and viewers (4.2mil).

In addition to its series highs, "Veronica Mars" also delivered its second largest audience ever (3.5mil) and second highest ratings in women 18-34 (2.6/7-tie) and women 18-49 (2.0/5-tie). "Veronica" hit season highs in all categories.

"Gilmore Girls" also ranked second in the time period among women 18-34 (3.7/10).

With both "Gilmore Girls" and "Veronica Mars" on the rise, The CW scored week-to-week increases of 43% in adults 18-34, 27% in adults 18-49, 28% in women 18-34, 18% in women 18-49 and 21% in viewers.
