Weekly Rankings: ABC claimed 5 of the week�s Top 20 TV programs among Adults 18-49, placing 3 in the Top 8: �ABC Monday Movie of the Week � Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl� � No. 6, �Primetime: Basic Instincts� and �Grey�s Anatomy� tied at No. 8, �New Year�s Rockin� Eve� � No. 12 and �20/20� � No. 18. ABC News� aired the Top 2 newsmagazines during the week in Adults 18-49 with �Primetime� and �20/20,� respectively.

Monday

With its rebroadcast of the Disney theatrical, �Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,� ABC delivered a solid second place on Christmas Night in Total Viewers (8.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.2/9), against NBC�s all-original programming (�Deal or No Deal�/�1 vs. 100�).

� Year to year ABC�s Christmas performance jumped by 2.3 million viewers and by 39% in Adults 18-49 (12/25/05 = 6.4 million & 2.3/8). On both counts, it represented ABC�s strongest Christmas Night numbers in 6 years � since 12/25/00, when the net carried a �Monday Night Football� contest on Christmas Night.

Wednesday

�Primetime: Basic Instincts� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

Wednesday�s No. 1 TV program among Adults 18-49 (3.0/8), ABC News� �Primetime: Basic Instincts� built sharply on its lead-in (+36% - 2.2/6) to win the final hour of primetime in the key young adult sales demo.

� Posting the new series� best-ever numbers, �Primetime: Basic Instincts� was up from the prior week by 2.9 million viewers (7.7 million vs. 4.8 million) and by 67% in Adults 18-49 (3.0/8 vs. 1.8/5).

Thursday

�Men in Trees� (10:02-11:00 p.m.)

Growing week to week in the 10 o�clock hour, ABC�s repeat airing of �Men in Trees� defeated NBC�s replay �ER� by 2.0 million viewers (6.5 million vs. 4.5 million) and by 29% in Adults 18-49 (2.2/6 vs. 1.7/5). ABC�s �Men in Trees� ranked No. 1 in the hour with Adults 18-34 (1.6/5-tie), Women 18-34 (2.5/7) and Women 18-49 (3.3/9).

Friday

ABC dominated Friday night among Adults 18-49, outpacing second-place CBS by 25% (2.5/8 vs. 2.0/6). In fact with a repeat of �America�s Funniest Home Videos� (2.2/7), leading into a 2-hour �20/20� (2.7/8), ABC claimed the Top 2 TV programs of the night in Adults 18-49.

� ABC marked its second-strongest Friday numbers of the season among Total Viewers (7.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.5/8-tied), behind only the night it aired the high-rated broadcast premiere of the theatrical �The Polar Express� on 12/1/06.

Sunday

�Dick Clark�s Primetime New Year�s Rockin� Eve� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

From 10:00-11:00 p.m., against the conclusion of NBC�s NFL game, the primetime portion of �Dick Clark�s New Year�s Rockin� Eve� stood as the No. 1 non-sports choice among Adults 18-49. The ABC New Year�s special outpaced its nearest entertainment competition in the time period by 40% in Adults 18-49 (2.8/9 vs. 2.0/7 � CBS� replay �Cold Case�/�Without a Trace�).

� �Dick Clark�s Primetime New Year�s Rockin� Eve� attracted its largest audience (8.3 million) in 5 years � since 2001. Growing 17% year to year (2.8/9 vs. 2.4/8), the annual special hit its second-highest Adult 18-49 number since 2001.
