CBS Moves Into Sole Possession of First Place in Adults 18-49 at Season's Mid-Point

CBS MOVES INTO SOLE POSSESSION OF FIRST PLACE IN ADULTS 18-49 AT SEASON'S MID-POINT

Network Maintains Lead in Both Viewers and Adults 25-54

Big Event Broadcasts Such as "The AFC Championship Game," "The Super Bowl" and "The Grammy Awards" Still to Come

After 17 weeks of the 2006-2007 season, CBS has moved into sole possession of first place in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 14. The Network, which also maintains its lead in both viewers and adults 25-54, still has big event broadcasts such as THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, THE SUPER BOWL and THE GRAMMY AWARDS to come.

Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 18-49 (3.7/10) followed by both NBC and ABC (3.6/10) and FOX (3.2/09).

Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.6/11) followed by ABC (4.2/10), NBC (4.1/10) and FOX (3.4/08).

Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.31m), followed by ABC (10.28m), NBC (9.94m) and FOX (8.51m).

CBS's WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS:

? THE 33rd ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS (S) was second in households (7.6/12), viewers (11.33m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09). This is THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since the 2004 ceremony. Compared to last year's broadcast, THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS delivery grew +13% in households (from 6.7/10), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/08), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 3.9/09) and added +1.57m viewers (from 9.76m, +16%).

? ARMED AND FAMOUS (P) was first in adults 18-49 (2.9/08), tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.3/08, with ABC), second in households (5.1/08), viewers (8.07m) and adults 18-34 (2.3/07, -0.1 behind CW).

? GHOST WHISPERER was first in households (6.7/11), viewers (10.44m), adults 25-54 (4.0/11) and adults 18-49 (3.1/10).

? CLOSE TO HOME was first in households (6.8/11), viewers (10.38m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.4/09, with NBC) and second in adults 18-49 (2.5/07, -0.2 behind NBC).

? NUMB3RS was first in households (7.4/13), viewers (11.58m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09).

? CRIMETIME SATURDAY 8PM "NCIS" (R) was second behind football in households (5.4/09), viewers (8.07m), adults 25-54 (2.8/07) and adults 18-49 (2.3/06). This is CBS's best delivery for CRIMETIME SATURDAY 8PM this season in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

? COLD CASE (9:27-10:27PM) delivered a 9.3/14 with 14.53m viewers, 4.9/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.9/09 in adults 18-49. From 9:30-10:30PM, COLD CASE was second in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. This is COLD CASE's best delivery since 11/19/06 in households, viewers and adults 18-49, since 12/3/06 in adults 25-54.

? WITHOUT A TRACE (10:27-11:27PM) scored an 8.6/15 with 13.39m viewers, 5.1/12 in adults 25-54 and 4.0/10 in adults 25-54.
