"Gilmore Girls" Series Finale Scores Its Best Adults 18-34 Ratings on The CW

May 22, 2007 (Burbank, California) - Hot on the heels of its wildly successful Upfront presentation last week, The CW wrapped up its first season in fine fashion with last week's crowning of the new "America's Next Top Model" and the series finale of "Gilmore Girls."

The CW completed its inaugural season (through 5/20/07) ahead of both UPN and The WB in the target demos of adults 18-34 (1.5/4, 7% over UPN and WB) and women 18-34 (1.9/5, 6% over both UPN and WB). The CW was the only network to show year-to-year growth in these key demographics.

The CW launched a new reality hit "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll," which averaged 8 million viewers each week between the show's original and encore telecast. The next edition of "Pussycat Dolls Present" will make its debut next midseason.
