New York, NY December 5, 2007 SCI FI Channel's Tin Man miniseries delivered on its promise to go beyond the yellow brick road and found ratings gold becoming the top cable miniseries of 2007. Over its three nights, this wild re-imagining of L. Frank Baum's Wonderful Wizard of Oz also became the most-watched program in SCI FI history, surpassing the success of the Channel's previous Emmy-winning events, Steven Spielberg Presents TAKEN and Frank Herbert's Dune.

--The six-hour, three-night event drew an even 50-50 split among male and female viewers

--Tin Man made SCI FI #1 in primetime (8-11pm) among all entertainment cable networks for all three nights of its broadcast averaging more than 2.3 million P25-54s and more than 2.1 million P18-49s. This beats the #2 network across the same three-day span by +77% and +40%, respectively.

*The above includes live plus same day info only. Full DVR playback data should be available for the miniseries by end of December, which will further increase the project's overall viewership totals.*

Night 1 of Tin Man (December 2 @ 9-11pm) became the Channel's most-watched telecast ever in overall viewership (P2+), as well as in both of its key demos, P25-54 and P18-49. The wizardly delivery bested all of SCI FI's previous offerings, including the Emmy-winning Steven Spielberg Presents TAKEN.

--Night 1 of Tin Man dominated all cable competition and even outperformed broadcast telecasts on CBS and Fox in key demos

--Night 1 of Tin Man was the top entertainment telecast in cable for P25-54 since Disney's High School Musical 2 (8/17/2007)

Produced by RHI, Tin Man is a deliciously twisted take on L. Frank Baum's children's literary classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and stars Zooey Deschanel, Alan Cumming, Neal McDonough, Kathleen Robertson, Raoul Trujillo and Richard Dreyfuss.
