CBS Research Estimates That 41 Million Viewers Watched All or Part of "The GRAMMYS"

"Two and a Half Men" and the Season Premiere of "The New Adventures of Old Christine" are the Week's Two Most-Watched Comedies

The premiere of SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA-FANS VS. FAVES and the 50th ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS boosted CBS to second places finishes in viewers, adults 18-49 (tie) and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Feb. 10, week 20 of the 2007-2008 television season.

CBS Research estimates that 41 million viewers watched all or part of the "Grammy Awards."

For the week in viewers, CBS (9.58m) trailed FOX (12.35m) and was ahead of ABC (8.24m) and NBC (7.61m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.12m), ahead of FOX (11.09m), ABC (9.56m) and NBC (8.68m).

For the week in households, CBS (6.2/10) was - 15% behind FOX (7.3/12) and +22% ahead of ABC (5.1/08) and +29% ahead of NBC (4.8/08). Season-to-date in households, CBS is first (7.1/11), +9% ahead of FOX (6.5/10), +15% ahead of ABC (6.2/10) and +29% ahead of NBC (5.5/09).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (3.5/08) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.8/07, with ABC). Season-to-date, CBS is second in adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and averaging a 3.1/08 in adults 18-49 (-0.1 behind NBC and ABC).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) was first in households (7.9/12), viewers (12.31m), adults 25-54 (5.0/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.8/09, -0.1 behind NBC). TWO AND A HALF MEN, the week's top comedy, aired against first-run programming on NBC, ABC, FOX and CW.

? The season premiere of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE averaged 9.43 million viewers making it the week's second most watched comedy.

? CSI: NY was first in viewers (10.16m), tied for first in both adults 25-54 (3.6/09, with NBC), adults 18-49 (2.9/08, with NBC) and second in households (6.5/11).

? SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA (P) was first in households (8.1/13), viewers (14.02m), adults 25-54 (5.9/15) and adults 18-49 (4.8/13). This is the best delivery for SURVIVOR in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Nov. 15, 2007.

? 48 HOURS MYSTERY (5.0/09, 6.77m) was first in households (5.0/09), second in adults 25-54 (2.4/06) and adults 18-49 (1.8/05). This is 48 HOURS MYSTERY's best delivery in households and adults 25-54 since Nov. 24, 2007, best viewers delivery since December 8, 2007 and best adults 18-49 performance since Jan. 5, 2008.

? THE 50TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS (S) (8:00-11:40PM) posted a 10.3/16 in households with 17.17m viewers, 7.1/16 in adults 25-54, 6.5/16 in adults 18-49 and 5.6/15 in adults 18-34. From 8:00-11:00 PM, CBS was first in households, viewers and key demos. THE GRAMMYS are the night's Number One program in households, viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. THE GRAMMY AWARDS won every half-hour in adults 18-34 and adults 18-49. CBS Research estimates 41 million viewers watched all or part of Sunday's broadcast.
