CBS WINS SIXTH CONSECUTIVE TUESDAY IN VIEWERS

Network Posts Highest Adult 18-49 Demos on the Night Since December 2007

"NCIS" is Tuesday's Number One Program

Freshman Hit "The Mentalist" Sees Across-the-Board Series High Ratings

"Without a Trace" Hits Season High Adult 18-49 Rating

CBS scored its highest rated Tuesday in adults 18-49 since last December and placed first in viewers for the sixth consecutive week, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 28.

NCIS was the night's Number One program, freshman hit THE MENTALIST scored series high ratings in viewers and key demographics and WITHOUT A TRACE delivered its best adult 18-49 rating of the season.

NCIS won its time period in households (10.8/16), viewers (17.08m), placed second in adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.4/09, with ABC), NCIS was the night's Number One program in viewers.

THE MENTALIST won its time period in adults 25-54 (5.4/12), tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.8/09, with ABC) and placed second in households (10.1/15) and viewers (16.11m). THE MENTALIST posted series highs in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +5% in households (from 9.6/14), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 4.8/11), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/09) and added +830,000 viewers (from 15.28m, +5%).

WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period in households (8.0/13), viewers (12.14m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.9/09, with NBC) and finished second in adults 18-49 (2.9/08). WITHOUT A TRACE was up +4% in households (from 7.7/13), +5% in adults 25-54 (from 3.7/09), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/07) and added +510,000 viewers (from 11.63m, +4%) compared to last week. WITHOUT A TRACE delivered its best Tuesday ratings in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 this season.
