Hallmark Channel's "Accidental Friendship" Soars to Rank Among Highest-Rated Cable Movies of the Day and Week

HALLMARK CHANNEL'S "ACCIDENTAL FRIENDSHIP" SOARS TO RANK AMONG HIGHEST-RATED CABLE MOVIES OF THE DAY AND WEEK

Hallmark Channel's critically acclaimed original movie, "Accidental Friendship," starring Chandra Wilson, Ben Vereen and Kathleen Munroe, delivered impressive results for the family-friendly network on Saturday night (11/15/08, 9-11 p.m., ET/PT). Ranking as the network's most-watched non-holiday fourth quarter movie premiere in the channel's history, "Accidental Friendship" scored a 2.5 household rating and delivered over 2.1 million homes, over 2.7 million total viewers and 3.7 million unduplicated viewers.

This impressive performance boosted the original movie to rank as the second-highest-rated cable movie of the day and week and elevated Hallmark Channel to rank #3 in Prime Time for the day (2.0 HH rating) and #10 for the week (1.1 HH rating).

In addition, "Accidental Friendship" ranked among the top 10 demos for ratings and delivery, including:

#3 for HH rating and delivery and P2+ rating (1.2)

#4 for P2+ delivery (2.75 million)

#6 for W25-54 rating (0.9) and delivery (446,000) #10 for W18-49 (0.5) and A25-54 (0.6) ratings

Hallmark Channel continues to offer audiences original movies that are engaging, emotionally connecting and relevant to their lives. The network will follow this premiere with a line-up of six holiday-themed original movies airing every Saturday night beginning this weekend with"An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving," starring Jacqueline Bisset.
