CBS WINS ITS FOURTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK IN VIEWERS AND 21ST OF 27 THIS SEASON

CBS Continues as the Only Network Posting Year-to-Year Gains in Viewers and Key Demographics

CBS Programs Dominate the Rankings as the Network Has 5 of the Top 10 and 12 of the Top 20 Led by "NCIS" and "The Mentalist"

"The Amazing Race" Dashes to its Highest Adult 18-49 and Adult 25-54 Ratings in More Than a Year

CBS won its fourth consecutive week in viewers and 21st of 27 this season and continued to be the only network posting year-to-year increases in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 29, week 27 of the 2008-2009 television season.

CBS programming dominated the weekly rankings as the Network had five of the Top 10 programs and 12 of the Top 20 led by NCIS and THE MENTALIST, the top two scripted programs of the week. CBS also got a boost from THE AMAZING RACE 14, which dashed to its highest adult 18-49 and adult 25-54 ratings since January 2008 and CBS Sports' coverage of the NCAA MEN'S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP which posted strong deliveries on Thursday and scored nightly wins on Friday and Saturday in viewers and key adult and men demographics.

For the season, CBS continues as the only network posting year-to-year gains in all key measures: +13% in viewers, +7% in adults 18-49, +8% in adults 25-54 and +5% in adults 18-34. Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +20% in viewers, +11% in adults 25-54 and +3% in adults 18-49.

For the week in viewers: CBS (11.39m), FOX (10.25m), ABC (9.41m) and NBC (6.37m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.81m), ahead of FOX (9.65m), ABC (8.99m) and NBC (8.12m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/08).

For the week in households: CBS (7.1/12), ABC (6.1/10), FOX (6.0/10) and NBC (4.1/07). In households, season-to-date, CBS is first (7.4/12), ahead of both ABC and FOX (5.7/09, each) and NBC (5.0/08).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (8.6/14), viewers (13.67m), adults 25-54 (5.1/12) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). Compared to last week, CSI: MIAMI was up +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/12), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 3.8/10), even in households and added +60,000 viewers (from 13.61m).

? NCIS was first in households (11.2/17), viewers (17.83m), adults 25-54 (5.6/13) and adults 18-49 (4.0/10) at 9PM. This is NCIS's best delivery in households and viewers since February 24, 2009, best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 performances since January 27, 2009.

? THE MENTALIST was first in households (11.2/18), viewers (17.62m), adults 25-54 (5.4/13) and second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10) at 10PM. This is THE MENTALIST's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since February 17, 2009 and adults 18-49 since February 10, 2009.

? CSI: NY was first in households (8.1/14), viewers (12.64m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08).

-- On Sunday, CBS was first in households (7.4/12), viewers (12.14m), adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08). CBS won five consecutive Sundays in viewers, two in a row in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

? 60 MINUTES (7:18-8:18 PM) delivered a 9.0/15 with 14.44m viewers, 4.3/11 in adults 25-54 and 3.4/10 in adults 18-49. CBS was first in these measures 7:30-8:30PM.

? THE AMAZING RACE 14 (8:18-9:18 PM) posted a 7.1/11 with 11.99m viewers, 4.7/11 in adults 25-54 and 3.7/09 in adults 18-49. CBS was first 8:30-9:30PM in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. This is THE AMAZING RACE's best delivery in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since January 13, 2008 (THE AMAZING RACE 12's penultimate episode).

? COLD CASE (9:18-10:18 PM) delivered a 7.4/11 with 11.86m viewers, 3.7/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.6/06 in adults 18-49. From 9:30-10:30PM, CBS was first in households and viewers, tied for second in adults 25-54 (with ABC).
