Network Places First in Viewers for the 7th Consecutive Week and 80% of the Season (24 of 30 Weeks)

CBS Continues as Only Network Posting Year-to-Year Gains in all Key Measures

"CSI" and "Two and a Half Men" are the Week's Top Scripted Programs; "Men" Is First in Key Demos

"The Amazing Race" Places First in Viewers and Key Demos for the Third Consecutive Week

CBS's Monday Comedies All Post Increases Over Last Original Broadcast

CBS placed first in viewers for the seventh consecutive week and 24th of 30 (80% of the season) and continues as the only network to post year-to-year increases in all key measures, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending April 19, week 30 of the 2008-2009 television season.

CSI and TWO AND A HALF MEN were the week's top scripted programs while MEN also was the top scripted series in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

For the season, CBS continues as the only network posting year-to-year gains in all key measures, up +13% in viewers, +7% in adults 18-49 and +8% in adults 25-54.

For the week in viewers: CBS (9.92m), FOX (9.28m), ABC (7.54m) and NBC (6.31m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.82m), ahead of FOX (9.70m), ABC (8.90m) and NBC (8.01m).

For the week in households: CBS (6.3/11) ahead of FOX (5.5/09), ABC (4.8/08) and NBC (4.0/07). Season-to-date, CBS is first (7.3/12), ahead of FOX (5.7/09), ABC (5.6/09) and NBC (4.9/08).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in both adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +13% in households, +16% in viewers, +7% in adults 25-54 and +4% in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/08).

-- Monday, CBS was first adults 25-54 (5.0/12), tied for first in adults 18-49 (4.1/11, with FOX), second in households (7.4/12), viewers (12.18m) and adults 18-34 (3.0/09).

? THE BIG BANG THEORY (6.0/09, 10.06m) was second in adults 18-49 (3.9/11), tied for second in adults 18-34 (2.8/09, with ABC). Compared to the last first run episode (March 30, 2009), THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +2% in adults 25-54 (4.5/11 from 4.4/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.8/11), even in households and added +420,000 viewers (from 9.74m, +3%).

? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.6/09, 9.60m) was up +4% in households (from 5.4/08), +7% in adults 25-54 (4.6/11 from 4.3/10), +5% in adults 18-49 (4.1/11 from 3.9/10) and added +400,000 viewers (from 9.20m, +4%).

? TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 18-49 (5.3/13), tied for first in adults 18-34 (3.7/10, with ABC), second in households (8.8/13), viewers (15.03m) and adults 25-54 (6.4/14, -0.1 behind ABC). Compared to the last first run episode (March 30, 2009), TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +4% in households (from 8.5/13), +5% in adults 25-54 (from 6.1/14), +2% in adults 18-49 (from 5.2/12) and added +470,000 viewers (from 14.56m, +3%).

? RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was first in households (7.0/11), viewers (11.60m), adults 25-54 (5.0/11) and adults 18-49 (4.0/10). Compared to the last first run episode (March 30, 2009), RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was up +6% in households (from 6.6/10), even in adults 25-54 and added +570,000 viewers (from 11.03m, +5%).

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (8.5/14), viewers (13.39m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10).

? WITHOUT A TRACE was first in households (8.5/14), viewers (13.23m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08).
