CBS WINS MONDAY IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOS

All Programs Post Week-to-Week Gains

Loud Ratings "Bang" Continues To Be Heard at 9:30 PM

CBS won Monday in viewers and key demographics as all five of the Network's series posted week to-week increases in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 12.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.4/08, 8.61m) was second in adults 18-49 (3.5/09), adults 18-34 (3.2/09) and averaged a 3.9/09 in adults 25-54. Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +2% in households (from 5.3/08), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/09), +10% in adults 18-34 (from 2.9/08), even in adults 25-54 and added +530,000 viewers (from 8.08m, +7%).

ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE (4.9/07, 7.83m) averaged a 3.6/08 in adults 25-54, 3.0/07 in adults 18-49 and 2.2/06 in adults 18-34. Compared to last week, ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE was up +4% in households (from 4.7/07), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/07), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/07), +16% in adults 18-34 (from 1.9/05) and added +660,000 viewers (from 7.17m, +9%).

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 25-54 (5.9/13), adults 18-49 (4.6/11), adults 18-34 (3.0/08), second behind ABC in both households (8.5/13) and viewers (13.90m) at 9PM. Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +1% in households (from 8.4/12), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 5.5/12), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 4.4/10), +11% in adults 18-34 (from 2.7/07) and added +600,000 viewers (from 13.30m, +5%).

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in adults 25-54 (5.8/13), adults 18-49 (4.8/12), adults 18-34 (3.3/09), second in both households (7.9/12) and viewers (12.78m). THE BIG BANG THEORY built on its TWO AND A HALF MEN lead-in by +4% in adults 18-49 and +10% in adults 18-34. THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +1% in households (from 7.8/12), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 5.6/12), +2% in adults 18-49 (from 4.7/11), even in adults 18-34 and added +260,000 viewers (from 12.52m, +2%) compared to last week.

CSI: MIAMI was first in households (8.3/14), viewers (12.94m), adults 25-54 (4.9/12), adults 18-49 (4.0/11) and adults 18-34 (2.9/08). CSI: MIAMI was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/10), even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-34 compared to last week.

For the night, CBS was adults 25-54 (4.8/11), adults 18-49 (4.0/10), second in households (7.2/11), viewers (11.50m) and adults 18-34 (2.9/10). Compared to last week, CBS was up +2% in viewers, +3% in adults 18-49 and +2% in adults 25-54.

Updated primetime Monday ratings will be also available this afternoon.

ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE (4.8/07, 7.73m) averaged a 3.6/08 in adults 25-54, 3.0/07 in adults 18-49 and 2.3/06 in adults 18-34. Compared to last week, ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE was up +2% in households (from 4.7/07), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/07), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/07), +21% in adults 18-34 (from 1.9/05) and added +560,000 viewers (from 7.17m, +8%).

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 25-54 (6.0/13), adults 18-49 (4.8/11), adults 18-34 (3.1/08), second behind ABC in both households (8.7/13) and viewers (14.17m) at 9PM. Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +4% in households (from 8.4/12), +9% in both adults 25-54 (from 5.5/12) and adults 18-49 (from 4.4/10), +15% in adults 18-34 (from 2.7/07) and added +870,000 viewers (from 13.30m, +7%).

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in adults 25-54 (6.0/13), adults 18-49 (5.0/12), adults 18-34 (3.4/09), second in both households (8.0/12) and viewers (13.07m). THE BIG BANG THEORY built on its TWO AND A HALF MEN lead-in by +4% in adults 18-49, +10% in adults 18-34 and retained 100% of its adults 25-54 lead-in. THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +3% in households (from 7.8/12), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 5.6/12), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 4.7/11), +3% in adults 18-34 (from 3.3/09) and added +550,000 viewers (from 12.52m, +4%) compared to last week.

CSI: MIAMI was first in households (8.5/14), viewers (13.27m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12), adults 18-49 (4.0/11) and adults 18-34 (2.7/08). CSI: MIAMI was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/12), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/10) compared to last week.

For the night, CBS won adults 25-54 (4.9/11), adults 18-49 (4.1/10), was second in households (7.3/11), viewers (11.68m) and adults 18-34 (2.9/08). Compared to last week, CBS was up +3% in viewers (from 11.32m), +4% in both adults 25-54 (from 4.7/11) and adults 18-34 (from 2.8/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/09) and even in households.
