CBS WINS THURSDAY IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54

All Three Programs Post Week-to-Week Increases in Adults 18-49

"Survivor: Samoa" Delivers Largest Audience of the Season and Wins Its Time Period in all Key Measures for the Third Consecutive Week

"CSI" Places First in Viewers with Across-the-Board Increases

"The Mentalist" Wins Time Period in Viewers and Adults 25-54

CBS placed first on Thursday in viewers and adults 25-54 as SURVIVOR: SAMOA, CSI and THE MENTALIST all posted week-to-week increases in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 15.

SURVIVOR: SAMOA was first in households (7.1/11), viewers (11.91m), adults 25-54 (4.5/10) and adults 18-49 (3.5/10) for the third consecutive week. This is SURVIVOR SAMOA's largest audience this season. Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was up +1% in households (from 7.0/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/10), even in adults 25-54 and added +220,000 viewers (from 11.69m, +2%).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (9.5/15), viewers (15.10m), second in adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/09). Compared to last week, CSI: was up +2% in households (from 9.3/14), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.8/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/09) and added +200,000 viewers (from 14.90m, +1%).

THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.3/16), viewers (14.41m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.4/09). Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/12) and +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.3/09)

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.6/14), viewers (13.81m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/10).

This is SURVIVOR SAMOA's largest audience this season. Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/10), even in both households and adults 25-54 and added +90,000 viewers (from 11.69m, +1%).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.38m), second in adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/09). Compared to last week, CSI: was up +4% in both households (from 9.3/14) and adults 25-54 (from 4.8/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/09) and added +480,000 viewers (from 14.90m, +3%).

THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.7/16), viewers (15.08m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/10). Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +3% in households (from 9.4/16), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/12), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.3/09) and added +380,000 viewers (from 14.70m, +3%).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.8/14), viewers (14.08m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10).
