CBS WINS EVERY HALF HOUR IN VIEWERS ON THURSDAY AND PLACES FIRST IN ADULTS 25-54

"Survivor: Samoa" Wins Time Period in All Key Measures; Posts Gains in Viewers Over Last Week and the Same Week Last Year

CBS won every half hour in viewers and placed first in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Nov. 5.

SURVIVOR: SAMOA won its time period in households (7.5/12), viewers (12.71m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: SAMOA was up +9% in households (from 6.9/11), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/11), even in adults 18-49 and added +520,000 viewers (from 12.19m, +4%). Compared to the same night last year ("Survivor: Gabon"), SURVIVOR added +690,000 viewers (from 12.02m, +6%).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION won its time period in households (9.4/15), viewers (15.14m), finished second in adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.4/09).

THE MENTALIST won its time period in households (9.9/17), viewers (15.37m), adults 25-54 (4.6/10) and was second in adults 18-49 (3.4/10, -0.1 behind ABC).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.9/15), viewers (14.40m), adults 25-54 (4.7/09) and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/09, -0.2 behind ABC).

CBS won every half hour in viewers, placed first in adults 25-54 while THE MENTALIST won its time period in adults 18-49 for the first time this season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Nov. 5.

SURVIVOR: SAMOA won its time period in households (7.3/11), viewers (12.44m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: SAMOA was up +6% in households (from 6.9/11), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/11), even in adults 18-49 and added +250,000 viewers (from 12.19m, +2%). Compared to the same night last year ("Survivor: Gabon"), SURVIVOR added +420,000 viewers (from 12.02m, +4%).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION won its time period in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.60m), finished second in adults 25-54 (4.8/11) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.5/09). Compared to last week, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was up +5% in households (from 9.2/14), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.7/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/08) and added +360,000 viewers (from 15.24m, +2%).

THE MENTALIST won its time period in households (10.4/18), viewers (16.21m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10). THE MENTALIST posted its largest margin of victory this season over "Private Practice" with first run episodes in households (+4.4 rtg pts), viewers (+7.10m) and adults 25-54 (+1.1 rtg pts) and beat "Private Practice" in adults 18-49 for the first time ever (+0.2 rtg pts). THE MENTALIST was Thursday's top program in viewers.

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.1/15), viewers (14.75m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, -0.1 behind ABC).
