CBS placed first in viewers for the sixth time in seven weeks and second in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 8, week seven of the 2009-2010 television season.

CBS had the week's top four scripted programs�NCIS, THE MENTALIST, CSI and NCIS: LOS ANGELES (the season's top new program). THE MENTALIST topped "Private Practice" in adults 18-49 for the first time, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the No. 1 comedy in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and 60 MINUTES and THE AMAZING RACE hit season highs in viewers and key demographics.

For the week in viewers: CBS (11.09m) led FOX (10.69m), ABC (9.25m) and NBC (8.23m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.08m), ahead of FOX (10.13m), ABC (10.04m) and NBC (7.71m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in both adults 25-54 (3.8/10, -0.1 behind FOX) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

For the week in households: CBS (7.0/11) was ahead of FOX (6.5/10), ABC (5.9/10) and NBC (5.1/08). Season-to-date, CBS is first (7.5/12), ahead of ABC (6.4/10), FOX (6.1/10) and NBC (4.8/08).

CBS's Weekly Highlights: ?

THE BIG BANG THEORY (7.7/12, 12.73m) was tied for first in adults 25-54 (5.8/13, with FOX), second in adults 18-49 (4.7/11) and adults 18-34 (3.5/09). THE BIG BANG THEORY built on its TWO AND A HALF MEN lead-in by +4% in adults 25-54, +7% in adults 18-49 and +17% in adults 18-34. It was the week's top comedy in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

-- Tuesday, CBS was first in households (10.2/16), viewers (16.07m), adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/10). CBS won Tuesday every week this season in households and viewers, six times in seven weeks in adults 25-54 and five times in seven weeks in adults 18-49. ?

NCIS won its time slot in households (12.2/19), viewers (20.18m), was second in both adults 25-54 (5.9/14, -0.2 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (4.3/11). CBS won this time period for the seventh consecutive week in households and viewers. Every first-run episode of NCIS this season delivered more than 20 million viewers. NCIS was the week's top scripted series. ?

NCIS: LOS ANGELES won its time slot in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.29m), adults 25-54 (4.9/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/09, -0.2 behind NBC). NCIS is the week's and the season's No. 1 new program. ?

THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (8.6/15), viewers (12.74m), adults 25-54 (4.0/11) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08). THE GOOD WIFE was first in this time period seventh consecutive week in households and viewers, first for the sixth time in seven weeks in adults 25-54 and first in adults 18-49 for the fifth time in seven weeks.

-- Thursday, CBS was first in households (9.1/15), viewers (14.75m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, -0.1 behind ABC).

SURVIVOR: SAMOA won its time period in households (7.3/11), viewers (12.44m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: SAMOA was up +6% in households (from 6.9/11), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/11), even in adults 18-49 and added +250,000 viewers (from 12.19m, +2%).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION won its time period in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.60m), finished second in adults 25-54 (4.8/11) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.5/09, with NBC). Compared to last week, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was up +5% in households (from 9.2/14), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.7/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/08) and added +360,000 viewers (from 15.24m, +2%).

THE MENTALIST won its time period in households (10.4/18), viewers (16.21m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10). THE MENTALIST posted its largest margin of victory this season over "Private Practice" with first run episodes in households (+4.4 rtg pts), viewers (+7.10m) and adults 25-54 (+1.1 rtg pts) and beat "Private Practice" in adults 18-49 for the first time ever (+0.2 rtg pts).

CBS SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS (S) (9:00-11:24PM) posted a 2.5/05 with 4.04m viewers, 1.8/05 in adults 25-54, 1.8/06 in adults 18-49, 1.8/07 in adults 18-34, 2.6/07 in men 25-54, 2.5/08 in men 18-49 and 2.3/09 in men 18-34. From 9:00-11:00PM, CBS was first in both adults 18-34 and men 18-34, second in adults 25-54, adults 18-49, men 25-54 and men 18-49.

Compared to the 9:00-11:00PM season-to-date averages (CRIMETIME SATURDAY and 48 HOURS MYSTERY), CBS SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS was up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 1.7/05), +38% in adults 18-49 (from 1.3/04), +125% in adults 18-34 (from 0.8/03), +117% in men 25-54 (from 1.2/03), +178% in men 18-49 (from 0.9/03) and +283% in men 18-34 (from 0.6/02).

60 MINUTES (7:20-8:20PM) was first in households (10.6/17), viewers (16.85m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.8/10) in the 7:30-8:30PM hour. These were season high deliveries for 60 MINUTES in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

THE AMAZING RACE 15 (8:20-9:20PM) posted season highs in households (6.9/10), viewers (11.62m), adults 25-54 (4.4/10) and adults 18-49 (3.5/08).
