"The Mentalist" Places First in Viewers and Adults 25-54

CBS Wins Night in Viewers with its Largest Thursday Audience of the Season

SURVIVOR: SAMOA and CSI (conclusion of week-long trilogy) delivered their largest audiences of the season and second highest adult 18-49 ratings, leading CBS to post its largest Thursday viewer delivery of the season, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Nov. 12.

SURVIVOR: SAMOA won its time period in households (7.7/12), viewers (13.19m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: SAMOA was up +5% in households (from 7.3/11), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.7/12), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/10) and added +750,000 viewers (from 12.44m, +6%). This is SURVIVOR: SAMOA's best delivery this season in viewers and second best adult 18-49 performance.

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (conclusion of trilogy) won its time period in households (10.6/16) and viewers (16.89m); it finished second in adults 25-54 (5.3/12) and adults 18-49 (4.0/10). Compared to last week, CSI was up +9% in households (from 9.7/15), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 4.8/11), +14% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/09) and added +1.29m viewers (from 15.60m, +8%). This is CSI's best delivery in viewers since March 12, 2009, best delivery in adults 25-54 since Sept. 24 and best delivery in adults 18-49 since Oct. 1.

THE MENTALIST won its time period in households (10.1/17), viewers (15.58m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and was second in adults 18-49 (3.5/10).

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.5/15), viewers (15.22m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.8/10). This marks CBS's largest viewer delivery of the season.

Updated Thursday ratings will be available this afternoon.

Editor's Note: According to updated ratings, CSI's season best viewer delivery increased to 17.38m while its adult 18-49 rating increased a tenth to match its season high.

With its largest Thursday audience of the season, CBS won the night in viewers and adults 25-54 as a result of strong performances from SURVIVOR: SAMOA, CSI (conclusion of week-long trilogy) and THE MENTALIST, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Nov. 12.

SURVIVOR: SAMOA won its time period in households (7.5/12), viewers (12.94m), adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: SAMOA was up +3% in households (from 7.3/11), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.7/12), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/10) and added +500,000 viewers (from 12.44m, +4%). This matches SURVIVOR: SAMOA's best delivery this season in viewers and was the second best adult 18-49 performance.

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (conclusion of trilogy) won its time period in households (10.9/17) and viewers (17.38m); it finished second in adults 25-54 (5.4/12) and adults 18-49 (4.1/10). Compared to last week, CSI was up +12% in households (from 9.7/15), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 4.8/11), +17% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/09) and added +1.78m viewers (from 15.60m, +11%). This was CSI's best delivery in viewers since March 5, 2009 and matches season highs in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

THE MENTALIST won its time period in households (10.4/18), viewers (16.17m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and was second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10).

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.6/15), viewers (15.50m), adults 25-54 (5.1/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10). This marks CBS's largest Thursday viewer delivery of the season, best adults 25-54 delivery and matches its best adults 18-49 performance.
