CBS Wins in Viewers for the 10th Time in 11 Weeks This Season

CBS WINS IN VIEWERS FOR THE 10TH TIME IN 11 WEEKS THIS SEASON

The Season Finale of "The Amazing Race 15" Sprints to its Largest Audience

"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer's" Annual Visit Sweeps its Time Period

CBS placed first in viewers for the 10th time in 11 weeks this season with a combination of first-run broadcasts, specials and rebroadcasts, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 6, week 11 of the 2009-2010 television season.

The week included special broadcasts of RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER, THE VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW, THE GRAMMY NOMINATIONS CONCERT as well as the season finale of the 15th edition of THE AMAZING RACE.

For the week in viewers: CBS (8.81m), ABC (7.93m), NBC (7.67m) and FOX (7.58m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.94m), ahead of ABC (10.20m), FOX (9.39m) and NBC (7.83m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS averaged a 2.9/07 in adults 25-54 and 2.3/06 in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

For the week in households: CBS (5.6/09), ahead of ABC (4.9/08), NBC (4.7/08) and FOX (4.6/07). Season-to-date, CBS is first (7.4/12), ahead of ABC (6.5/11), FOX (5.6/09) and NBC (4.9/08).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? NCIS 9PM SPECIAL (R) (S) won its time slot in households (9.3/15) and viewers (14.28m); it was second in adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07).

? THE VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW (S) was second in households (5.2/09), viewers (8.01m), adults 25-54 (2.8/07) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08).

? RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER (R) (S) (8:00-9:01PM) was first in viewers (10.59m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12), adults 18-49 (3.8/11), adults 18-34 (2.6/08), children 2-11 (5.7/18), children 6-11 (5.0/16) and tied for first in households (5.6/09, with NBC).

? GRAMMYS NOMINATIONS CONCERT (S) (9:01-10:01PM, 3.9/06, 6.28m) was second in adults 25-54 (2.6/06), adults 18-49 (2.3/06) and adults 18-34 (1.7/05).

? SURVIVOR: SAMOA won its time period in households (7.5/12), viewers (12.82m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11).

? THE MENTALIST (R) won its time period in households (7.1/12) and viewers (10.74m); it was second in adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07) � beating "The Jay Leno Show" in these measures.

? THE AMAZING RACE 15 was second in households (7.0/11), viewers (12.30m), adults 25-54 (4.6/10) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09). This was THE AMAZING RACE 15's best households and viewers deliveries this season, matching its best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 performances. Compared to last year's finale (on the same night last year), THE AMAZING RACE was up +13% in households, +15% in adults 25-54, +19% in adults 18-49 and added +1.79m viewers (from 10.51m, +17%).
