FOX Rocks Out Another Week at No. 1
FOX spins the numbers for the week of March 15-21.

FOX ROCKS OUT ANOTHER WEEK AT NO. 1

FOX kicked off last week with strong originals of HOUSE and 24, and continued its dominance with impressive ratings from HUMAN TARGET and AMERICAN IDOL. FOX ranked No. 1 for the week with a 3.2/10 rating among Adults 18-49 and continues to hold the top spot for the season to date.

Solid performances by fan favorites HOUSE and 24 on Monday led FOX to a nightly win among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all key demos.

At 8p HOUSE posted a 4.0/12 among Adults 18-49 and won the 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos.

At 9p, 24 delivered a 2.7/7, and grew +1% in Total Viewers compared to the previous week's episode.

On Tuesday night, the Top 12 finalists took the stage for a Rolling Stones-themed AMERICAN IDOL and delivered a win for FOX among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all key demos.

The two-hour AMERICAN IDOL performance show posted an 8.1/22 among Adults 18-49 and dominated its competition with an advantage of +161% over the next highest-rated network among Adults 18-49, +195% among Adults 18-34, +345% among Teens and +48% among Total Viewers.

Compared to the previous Tuesday, AMERICAN IDOL retained nearly all of its viewers, showing 99% retention among Adults 18-49 and 100% in Total Viewers.

On Wednesday night, winning performances from HUMAN TARGET and AMERICAN IDOL gave FOX a dominant win on the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all key demos, showing advantages of +156% over its closest competitor among Adults 18-49, +100% among Adults 18-34, +127% among Teens and +107% among Total Viewers.

At 8p HUMAN TARGET posted a 2.3/8 among Adults 18-49 and won its hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54, Women 25-54, Total Viewers and all key male demos.

HUMAN TARGET was on par with the previous week's delivery among Adults 18-49 and grew +3% in Total Viewers.

The Top 12 Results episode of AMERICAN IDOL delivered a 6.8/20 among Adults 18-49 and won its hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all key demos.

Compared to the previous week's Results show on Thursday, 3/11/10, AMERICAN IDOL showed growth of +8% among Adults 18-49 and +6% in Total Viewers.

So far this season, AMERICAN IDOL's average is on par with that of the same weeks last year, showing 94% retention among Adults 18-49, 95% among Adults 18-34, 97% among Teens and 95% in Total Viewers.
