LisaRaye: The Real McCoy follows the beautiful, outspoken star of film and television and former First Lady of the Turks and Caicos on her unvarnished journey as she moves back to Hollywood and seeks to fully re-establish her critically acclaimed acting career, while balancing a far-flung and complex personal life.

"We felt from the beginning that LisaRaye's amazing life story, coupled with her unusual candor, style, beauty and determination, was something that would resonate with our audience, and we're delighted that we were proved right," said Toni Judkins, TV One Senior Vice President of Original Programming. "The good news is, our viewers have a lot more of LisaRaye to look forward to, and we're confident that she - and the show - will continue to deliver for them."

The eight-episode, half-hour series is produced for TV One by Evolution Media.
