USA CONTINUES RATINGS DOMINATION

PACING TOWARD FIFTH STRAIGHT SUMMER WIN

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - August 17, 2010 - USA continues to outshine the competition this summer, finishing the week as the only cable network to average over 1 million in P25-54 (1.27 million, +35% over #2 TNT), 1 million in P18-49 (1.18 million, +38% over #2 HBO), or 3 million total viewers (3.12 million, +8% over #2 Disney Channel). The best household coverage rating in basic cable was USA (2.36, +0.27 over #2 Disney Channel). USA is poised to win its fifth straight summer in P18-49, P25-54 and total viewers

Driven by USA Originals WHITE COLLAR, COVERT AFFAIRS, PSYCH, BURN NOTICE, and ROYAL PAINS, WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW; and NCIS, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, and HOUSE, the top acquired series on cable, USA delivered over three times as many total viewers as The CW (+226%) and more than twice the broadcaster's audiences among P18-49 (+135%), P25-54 (+163%), and P18-34 (+138%).

Four of the ten most watched telecasts in basic cable prime among P25-54 this week were on USA, as were three of the top ten among P18-49, more than any other network in either demo. Four of the network's originals - ROYAL PAINS, COVERT AFFAIRS, PSYCH, and BURN NOTICE - delivered more P18-34 viewers than any broadcast drama. BURN NOTICE and COVERT AFFAIRS delivered more M18-49 than any ad-supported drama in all of television, broadcast or cable. The five USA Originals (BURN NOTICE, PSYCH, COVERT AFFAIRS, ROYAL PAINS, and WHITE COLLAR drew more M18-34 than any other ad-supported drama on television this week.

* BURN NOTICE and ROYAL PAINS ruled Thursday night, each enjoying a place at the top as ROYAL PAINS was #1 for the night in P25-54 (2.52 million) and BURN NOTICE was the hottest show for the night among total viewers (5.57 million) and households (4.09 million). These two USA Originals were the top two scripted series for the night across the board, delivering more P25-54 (RP 2.52 million / BN 2.35 million), P18-49 (RP 2.12 million/ BN 2.01 million), total viewers (BN 5.57 million / RP 5.39 million), and households (BN 4.09 million / RP 3.92 million) than any other scripted fare on cable. Among P18-34 ROYAL PAINS was the top scripted telecast Thursday with 990,000 of these viewers. ROYAL PAINS was the top scripted telecast in all of television Thursday night, broadcast or cable, in delivering P18-34 and P18-49 while BURN NOTICE was the night's top scripted telecast among M18-49 and total males.

* COVERT AFFAIRS won Tuesday night again this week, taking the top spot among P25-54 (2.17 million), total viewers (5.17 million), and households (3.78 million) with WHITE COLLAR coming in second only to its partner in crime among total viewers (4.00 million) and households (2.99 million). No scripted series delivered more P18-49 than COVERT AFFAIRS (2.04 million) or WHITE COLLAR (1.44 million) Tuesday night. COVERT AFFAIRS brought more total viewers, M18-49, M25-54, and total males to USA in the 10pm hour Tuesday than any network but NBC while outperforming ABC and CBS in P18-49 and P18-34. USA also beat CBS in Tuesday's 10pm hour among P25-54 and ABC in households.

* This week's episode of PSYCH drew more P18-49 (1.74 million) and total viewers (3.78 million) than it has since last winter's premiere (1/27/10) and brought in the second best performances it has had since then among P25-54 (1.77 million, best since 2/24/10) and P18-34 (907,000, best since 2/10/10). PSYCH took the top spot in cable prime Wednesday night among both P25-54 and P18-49 and was the most watched scripted telecast of the night for P18-34. No competitor aired a telecast with more total viewers or households (2.64 million) than PSYCH.
