All Three Editions of "Big Brother" Finish in the Top 10 in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 with Week-to-Week Gains

"Big Brother Sunday" Delivers Largest Audience on Any Night Since Last September While Posting Season Highs in Adults 25-54

Rebroadcasts of CBS's Scripted Series Continue to Dominate as the Network has 9 of the Top 10 Led by "NCIS"

CBS's extended its winning streak to nine straight weeks led by all three editions of BIG BROTHER and rebroadcasts of its scripted series, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Aug. 22, week 48 of the 2009-2010 television season.

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and SUNDAY all placed in the top 10 in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 while THE BIG BANG THEORY and TWO AND A HALF MEN were the week's top scripted series in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. The Network had nine of the top 10 scripted programs of the week in viewers.

For the week in viewers: CBS (6.09m), NBC (5.70m), ABC (5.04m) and FOX (4.62m). Season-to-date among viewers, CBS (6.41m) leads ABC (5.83m), NBC (5.46m) and FOX (5.15m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for second in adults 25-54 (1.9/06, with both ABC and FOX, -0.1 behind NBC) and averaged a 1.4/05 in adults 18-49.

For the week in households: CBS (3.9.07), NBC (3.6/07), ABC (3.1/06) and FOX (2.9/05). Summer-to-date in households, CBS is first (4.2/08), ahead of ABC (3.6/07), NBC (3.4/06) and FOX (3.1/06).

Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +5% in households (from 4.2/08), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/09), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08), +10% in adults 18-34 (from 2.0/08) and added +510,000 viewers (from 7.10m, +7%).

? BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was first in households (4.5/08), viewers (7.55m), adults 25-54 (3.1/10), adults 18-49 (2.5/09) and adults 18-34 (2.0/08). BIG BROTHER THURSDAY posted season highs in viewers and adults 25-54, and matched its season high in adults 18-49. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was up +5% in households (from 4.3/08), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/09), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08), even in adults 18-34, and added +310,000 viewers (from 7.24m, +4%).
