Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "Dancing" Hands ABC Another Win

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

ABC (17.22 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.8, #1) took home another adults 18-49 win on Monday thanks to new episodes of "Dancing With the Stars" (19.98 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.1, #2) and "Castle" (12.06 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.2, #6).

A silver medal then went to CBS (10.26 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.4, #2) with its mix of "How I Met Your Mother" (8.53 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 3.4, #5), "Rules of Engagement" (8.00 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 3.0, #8), "Two and a Half Men" (13.22 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.3, #1), "Mike & Molly" (10.76 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.5, #4) and "Hawaii Five-0" (10.52 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.1, #7).

Next up was FOX (7.55 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.7, #3) with a new "House" (9.55 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.6, #3) followed by week two of "Lie to Me" (5.54 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T10).

Meanwhile, NBC (5.60 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #4) offered up fresh installments of "Chuck" (5.35 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T10), "The Event" (6.45 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.2, #9) and "Chase" (5.00 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.5, #12).

And finally, new episodes of "90210" (1.81 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T13) and "Gossip Girl" (1.80 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T13) on The CW (1.81 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #5) rounded out the evening.

Week-to-week changes (adults 18-49): Castle (6.70%), How I Met Your Mother (0.00%), Rules of Engagement (0.00%), Chuck (0.00%), Two and a Half Men (-4.40%), Dancing With the Stars (-6.80%), House (-7.70%), Mike & Molly (-7.90%), The Event (-8.30%), 90210 (-10.00%), Hawaii Five-0 (-11.40%), Chase (-11.80%), Lie to Me (-13.60%), Gossip Girl (-18.20%).

In late-night metered market ratings, ABC's "Nightline" (3.6/8) took top honors ahead of CBS's "Letterman" (2.4/6) and NBC's "Leno" (2.4/6). Rounding out the night then were "Kimmel" (1.7/5) on ABC "Ferguson" (1.2/4) on CBS and "Fallon" (1.2/4) and "Daly" (0.7/3) on NBC.

CBS (11.50 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.0, #1) moved into the top spot on Monday thanks to new episodes of "How I Met Your Mother" (8.61 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 3.5, #T5), "Accidentally on Purpose" (7.83 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 3.0, #7), "Two and a Half Men" (13.89 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.6, #3), "The Big Bang Theory" (12.78 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.8, #2) and "CSI: Miami" (12.94 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 4.0, #4).

FOX (10.36 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.9, #2) then had to settle for second place with fresh installments of "House" (12.91 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 5.0, #1) and "Lie to Me" (7.81 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.8, #8).

Next up was ABC (14.30 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.1, #3) with new episodes of "Dancing With the Stars" (16.46 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.5, #T5) and "Castle" (9.99 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T9).

Meanwhile, NBC (5.36 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #4) offered up its combination of "Heroes" (5.64 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T9), "Trauma" (5.52 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.8, #11) and "The Jay Leno Show" (4.91 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.5, #12).

And finally, new episodes of "One Tree Hill" (2.62 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T13) and "Gossip Girl" (2.51 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T13) on The CW (2.56 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5) rounded out the evening.
