For a Third Week in a Row, "Parenthood" Is the #1 Series Overall in Terms of Percentage Increase from Live + Same Day to Live + 7

For a Third Week in a Row, "Parenthood" Is the #1 Series Overall in Terms of Percentage Increase (+43%, 18-49 from L+SD to L+7).

"The Event" earned the #1 percentage increase among new shows (+39%) with its biggest increase to date. "The Event" was also #3 among all series.

"Outsourced" generated the #1 percentage increase among new half-hour comedies (+21%), tied with "Raising Hope."

"The Office" (+31%) generated the #1 biggest increase among half-hour comedies and "Community" (+24%) was #3.

"Apprentice" delivered the #1 percentage increase among unscripted shows (+31%) for a fourth week in a row.

Live Plus 7 Notes for Week 4 (October 11-17):

In the season's fourth week, "Parenthood" added 43 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure (to a 2.80 rating from a 1.96). On a percentage basis, "Parenthood" was the #1 biggest gainer from L+SD to L+7 among primetime series during week four on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW, marking the third week in a row "Parenthood" has ranked #1.

In the season's fourth week, "The Event" added a highest-yet 39 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure (to a 3.11 rating from a 2.23). On a percentage basis, "The Event" was the #1 biggest gainer from L+SD to L+7 among new series this season during week four on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW and the #3 gainer among all primetime series on those networks.

Starting with no time-shifted viewing by using its "live only" rating as the base, "The Event" derived 42 percent of its "L+7" rating from time-shifted viewing (1.32 points of a 3.11 rating in L+7), making "The Event" the most time-shifted new primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW on a percentage basis for a third week in a row.

In the season's fourth week, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" added 34 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure (to a 3.03 rating from a 2.26).

In the season's fourth week, "The Office" added 31 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure (to a 4.94 rating from a 3.78). In the season's fourth week, "The Apprentice" added 31 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure (to a 1.67 rating from a 1.27). On a percentage basis, For a fourth week in a row, "The Apprentice" was the #1 biggest gainer from L+SD to L+7 among unscripted primetime series during week four on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW.

In the season's fourth week, "Chase" added 30 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure (to a 1.97 rating from a 1.52).

In the season's fourth week, "Law & Order: Los Angeles" added 27 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure (to a 2.46 rating from a 1.94).

"30 Rock" was the #2 biggest gainer from L+SD to L+7 among primetime half-hour comedies during week four on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW, behind only "The Office."

In the season's fourth week, "Outsourced" added 21 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure (to a 3.11 rating from a 2.56). On a percentage basis, "Outsourced" was the #1 biggest gainer from L+SD to L+7 among first-year half-hour comedies during week four on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW (tied at 21 percent with "Raising Hope," and a slightly higher percentage when taken to a tenth of a point, 21.5 percent vs. 20.7 percent).

Other NBC series also delivered solid increases in L+7 vs. L+SD, including a 28% increase for "Outlaw," a 15 percent jump for "Undercovers" and a 14 percent increase for "Biggest Loser."
