The highest rated Hallmark Channel telecast of the year

Five-time Emmy(R) Award winner Doris Roberts starred in "Debbie Macomber's Call Me Mrs. Miracle," which premiered Saturday, December 5 (8-10 p.m.), a sequel to 2009's highly-rated "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle." Roberts returned as Mrs. Emily Merkle - aptly nicknamed "Mrs. Miracle" - a mysterious employee in a family-owned department store, struggling to sell toys during the holiday season. On top of giving sales a boost, her always-magic touch also mends the family's relationships and creates new ones.

The November 25th premiere of the Hallmark Channel Original Movie "The Town Christmas Forgot" also ranked as the highest-rated movie of the day among all ad-supported cable networks with a 2.1 HH rating representing 1,843,000 households.

In "The Town Christmas Forgot," starring Lauren Holly and Rick Roberts, a family hits the road for a holiday ski trip with their two children. Together, yet separate, each lives in a world of digital communication, satellite radio and cell phones. But when the family takes a short cut through back roads, contact with the outside world is lost, and when their SUV breaks down, the group ends up stuck in the rural burg of Nowhere. With no outside distractions, the family learns that life "simply" is better. What began as a misfortunate event leaves an indelible lesson: being present in the lives of others is the best gift of the season. Now, holiday hope is everywhere.

Seven Hallmark Channel Original Movies remain during the network's "Countdown to Christmas," including "The Santa Suit" (Dec. 2), starring Kevin Sorbo, and "Farewell Mr. Kringle" (Dec. 4), starring Christine Taylor and Vivica A. Fox.

Hallmark Channel, owned and operated by Crown Media Holdings, Inc., is a 24-hour basic cable network that provides a diverse slate of high-quality entertainment programming available in high definition (HD) and standard definition (SD) to a national audience of 87.5 million subscribers. The top tier program service is distributed through more than 5,450 cable systems and communities as well as direct-to-home satellite services across the country. Hallmark Channel is the nation's leading network in quality family programming with an ambitious slate of original TV movies, lifestyle and general entertainment content, and is the home of "The Martha Stewart Show", which anchors the channel's new daytime HOME block. Hallmark Channel's sibling network is Hallmark Movie Channel, also available in HD and SD, which focuses on the family-friendly movies with a mix of classic theatrical films, presentations from the acclaimed Hallmark Hall of Fame library, original Hallmark Channel movies and special events.
