ABC is #1 on Friday in Adults 18-49, as "20/20" is the Top Show
Boosted by strong results from a 2-hour 20/20, ABC ranked #1 on Friday night in Adults 18-49.
· ABC drew its biggest overall audience on the night since New Year's Eve 6 weeks ago - since 12/31/10
Surging from its lead-in at 9pm, ABC's 2-hour 20/20 won its time period in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54, finishing as Friday's #1 TV show on the major nets in the key young adult sales demo. In addition, ABC's 20/20 beat out NBC's competing 2-hour Dateline in the 9-11pm time period by 11% in Total Viewers, by 14% in Adults 18-49 and by 16% in Adults 25-54. 20/20 featured a report on the disappearance of the Kim family, while on a road trip in the Pacific Northwest.
· ABC's 20/20 generated its most-watched telecast since the beginning of December (12/3/10), attracting its 3rd largest audience of the 2010-11 TV Season.
