JAY, JIMMY AND CARSON DALY MATCH THEIR 18-49 RATINGS FOR THE PRIOR SWEEP MONTH IN NOVEMBER AND GENERATE GAINS IN TOTAL VIEWERS

SEASON TO DATE, 'TONIGHT' IS UP 37 PERCENT IN TOTAL VIEWERS VS. LAST YEAR AND JIMMY FALLON GROWS BY 21 PERCENT

CARSON DALY IS UP SEASON TO DATE BY 10 PERCENT IN 18-49 VIEWERS AND 24 PERCENT IN TOTAL VIEWERS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - March 10, 2011 - NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" is #1 for the February 2011 sweep versus CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in viewers 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" also topped CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and "Kimmel" in 18-49 viewers, total viewers and other key categories.

Jay, Jimmy and Carson Daly all matched their adult 18-49 ratings for the prior sweep month, November 2010, and delivered gains versus November in total viewers. Note that results for the February sweep of one year ago are anomalous, with NBC late-night programming having been preempted for two weeks by Olympics coverage.

Jay scored a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 for both February 2011 and November 2010 and was up 1 percent February versus November in total viewers (3.936 million vs. 3.911 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon earned a 0.6 in 18-49 during both the February and November sweeps and was up 3 percent in total viewers comparing February to November (1.810 million vs. 1.759 million). At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.4 in 18-49 in February and November and was up 2 percent February versus November in total viewers (1.028 million vs. 1.005 million).

Versus the prior sweep month, November 2010, Jimmy Fallon moved past CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in total viewers while increasing his margin of victory in viewers 18-49. For February, Jimmy Fallon topped "Late Late Show" by a 19 percent margin in adult 18-49 viewers (820,000 vs. 690,000), up from a November margin of 17 percent (800,000 vs. 681,000). In total viewers, Jimmy took February over "Late Late Show" by a 3 percent margin (1.810 million vs. 1.762 million) after "Late Late Show" led November by 1 percent (1.774 million vs. 1.759 million).

Versus the first 24 weeks of last season, "Tonight" is up by 37 percent in total viewers (3.899 million vs. 2.845 million), while "Late Show" is down 12 percent (3.620 million vs. 4.121 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is up 21 percent versus his year-ago pace in total viewers (1.785 million vs. 1.478 million), while "Late Late Show" is down 8 percent (1.776 million vs. 1.934 million).

At 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" is up so far this season versus one year ago by 10 percent in 18-49 viewers (501,000 vs. 457,000) and up 24 percent in total viewers (1.009 million vs. 812,000).

Jay Leno has ranked #1 for 23 of 24 weeks this season versus "Late Show" in viewers 18-49 and for 22 of 24 weeks in total viewers. Jimmy Fallon has ranked #1 versus "Late Late Show" in viewers 18-49 for 24 of 24 weeks this season. In total viewers, Jimmy has won 14 of the last 16 weeks versus "Late Late Show."
