FOX Clinches Another Adult 18-49 and Total Viewers Victory

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 14 - 20, 2011

FOX CLINCHES ANOTHER ADULT 18-49 AND TOTAL VIEWERS VICTORY

Once again winning five of seven nights last week, FOX ranked No. 1 among both Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers for its third consecutive week. In addition, the network dominated the competition among Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos and outperformed the next highest-rated network (CBS) by +60% in the core adult demo. So far this season, FOX continues to outperform the No. 2 network by a half of a ratings point lead among Adults 18-49 (3.5 vs. 3.0). Key highlights from last week include:

· FOX's Tuesday comedy block won its night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, and all key demos last week.

· GLEE posted a 4.2/13 among Adults 18-49 and was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Adults 25-54.

· At 9p RAISING HOPE posted a 2.2/6 among Adults 18-49 and was the second-highest rated program of the night behind GLEE among Adults 18-34 and Teens.

· TRAFFIC LIGHT closed the night with a 1.5/4 in Adults 18-49, holding steady with the previous week's performance.

· AMERICAN IDOL dominated on Wednesday and secured another Thursday win alongside a strong episode of BONES.

· On Wednesday, IDOL posted a 7.6/22 among Adults 18-49 with 22.6 Mil Total Viewers, winning the night across all key demos and outperforming the combined 4-net competition by +21% among Adults 18-49 and +4% in Total Viewers.

· Thursday's IDOL results show (5.7/19) was the highest rated program of the night and outperformed the combined 4-net competition by +24% in Total Viewers.

· So far this season with Comparable Most Current ratings AMERICAN IDOL is retaining +96% of the Total Viewers it drew for last year's same telecasts (24.7 vs. 25.8 Mil., through Top 12 results).

· BONES followed with a 3.3/10 among Adults 18-49 and was up vs. the previous week by +3% in the demo and +10% in Total Viewers (11.6 vs. 10.5 Mil.)

· FOX also ranked No. 1 on Friday and Saturday among Adults 18-49, thanks to its Friday combo of KITCHEN NIGHTMARES (1.6/6) and FRINGE (1.3/5) and its Saturday night staples, COPS (1.4/5 & 1.5/5) and AMERICA'S MOST WANTED (1.5/5).

FOX outperformed the combined 4-net competition for the night by +21% among Adults 18-49 (7.6 vs. 6.3) and +4% in Total Viewers (22.6 vs. 21.7 Mil.) and outperformed its nearest competitor for the night by +145% in A18-49 (7.6 vs. 3.1 for CBS) and +95% in Total Viewers (22.6 vs. CBS' 11.6 Mil.)

AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in all key demos and outperformed the next highest rated program of the night by +111% in A18-49 (7.6 vs. Criminal Minds' 3.6) and +65% in Total Viewers (22.6 vs. Criminal Minds', 13.7 Mil.)
