Disney Channel: Weekly Highlights

During the week of July 11, Disney Channel ranked as TV's No. 1 network in Total Day among Kids 6-11 (884,000/3.6 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (691,000/2.8 rating) for the 5th consecutive week. Fronted by "A.N.T. Farm," Disney Channel held TV's Top 3 telecasts in Tweens 9-14, and 10 of the week's Top 11 TV telecasts overall among both Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.

In Prime, Disney Channel was cable's No. 1 network for the 323rd consecutive week among Kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.2 rating), extending its No. 1 streak to well over 6 years on a weekly basis, and placed No. 1 for the 320th time in the previous 323 weeks among Tweens 9-14 (979,000/4.0 rating).

· Friday's all new "Phineas and Ferb" (9:05 - 9:30 p.m.) tied an all new "Spongebob" on Nickelodeon as the week's No. 1 TV telecast in Kids 6-11 (2.1 million/8.5 rating) and was the No. 1 animated TV telecast in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.4 rating).

· Impressively, for its 2nd straight original airing, "Phineas and Ferb" hit a series high in Tween Girls (1.0 million/8.5 rating) and was the series' No. 3 telecast of all time in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.

· Friday's original "A.N.T. Farm" (8:35 - 9:00 p.m.) was the week's No. 1 TV telecast in Tweens 9-14 (1.8 million/7.2 rating), delivered its 2nd-most-watched telecast to date among Kids 6-11 (2.0 million/8.2 rating), and surged by hefty double-digit percent margins week to week among Total Viewers (+11% - 3.9 million vs. 3.5 million).

· Friday's launch of original series "PrankStars" (8:00 - 8:30 p.m.), a hidden camera series featuring Disney Channel stars Selena Gomez, Debby Ryan and Mitchel Musso, ranked as TV's No. 2 telecast for the week among Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.6 rating), and was the No. 2 live-action telecast among Kids 6-11 (1.9 million/7.6 rating), ranking behind lead-out "A.N.T. Farm" in both demos.

· Versus year-ago time period averages, "PrankStars" grew by 11% in Total Viewers (3.9 million vs. 3.5 million), by 27% in Kids 6-11 (1.9 million vs. 1.5 million) and by 23% in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million vs. 1.3 million).

"Friends for Change Games"

"Disney Friends for Change Games," an example of the great synergy between Disney Channels Worldwide and Disney Corporate Citizenship, continues to be a huge success across multiple platforms. Featuring over 30 Disney Channel and Disney XD stars from around the globe playing on behalf of environmental charities, the games launched on Disney Channel on June 24 and on Disney XD on June 27 to tremendous fanfare, reaching over 28 million unique Total Viewers on television, including nearly 13 million unique Kids 6-14.

· On Friday, the games delivered 4.7 million Total Viewers at 8:30 p.m., standing as the event's 2nd-most-watched segment to date.

· Also impressive, in a single week page views for the online "Disney Friends for Change Games" more than doubled, jumping by nearly 2 million page views (3.2 million vs. 1.4 million) to exceed 11 million page views since its June launch.
