"Rescue Me" Signs Off on a Very High Note
FX spins the numbers for Wednesday, September 7.

After seven seasons, we bid a fond and heartfelt farewell last night to Rescue Me.

Last night's finale sent Rescue Me off on a very high note:

· In Total Viewers (2,334), it was the most-watched telecast since the Season 4 finale (2,686).

· In P18-49 (1,339), it was the most-watched telecast since the Season 5 premiere (1,477).

· Helping fuel Rescue Me last night was its lead-in movie Wolverine, which boosted last week's movie Dragonball Evolution by +121% in P18-49 (1,413 vs. 640) and by +75% in Total Viewers (2,233 vs. 1,275).

Overall, Season 7 of Rescue Me averaged 1,488 million Total Viewers - outdelivering Season 6 by +10% (1,349) and Season 5 by +3% (1,447). In P18-49, Season 7 (847) was on par with Season 6 (845).
