14.2 is Fourth Highest SNF Overnight This Season; Up 15 Percent From Week 9 Game in 2010 Featuring Cowboys at Packers

SNF Is No. 1 Show of Night and Leads NBC to Sunday Night Win

Pittsburgh Leads Metered Markets With 53.0/71; Baltimore Second At 45.0/63

NEW YORK - November 7, 2011 - Sunday Night Football was the No. 1 broadcast on Sunday night and led NBC to another Sunday night win, according to overnight data released today by The Nielsen Company.

Last night's game on NBC, in which the Ravens beat the Steelers 23-20, registered a 14.2 overnight rating and a 23 share, up 15 percent from last year's Week 9 game (Cowboys- Packers 12.4/19), and is the fourth best overnight rating for Sunday Night Football this season.

NBC NO. 1 ON SUNDAY NIGHT: Last night's Sunday Night Football broadcast won the night while facing original network programs. NBC led the night among metered markets in primetime (7-11 p.m. ET) with a 10.8/17, topping the 7.9/12 for second-place Fox, which was aided by an NFL overrun of the close games between the Giants and Patriots and Packers and Chargers. NBC also beat CBS (7.3/11) by 48 percent and ABC (5.1/8) by 112 percent.

36 FOR 37: When the viewership is available tomorrow from Nielsen, Sunday Night Football is expected to be the most-watched primetime show on Sunday night. This will mark the 36th time in 37 primetime NFL games - dating back to Week 7 in 2009 - that NBC has defeated its competition (33 Sundays, two Thursdays and one Tuesday).
