New Series Premiere of "The Heart She Holler" Posts Double-Digit Delivery Gains Across All Targeted Demos

Adult Swim

The new series premiere of The Heart She Holler (Sunday, 12:30 a.m.) posted double-digit delivery gains across all targeted demos vs. the same time period last year: adults 18-34 (452,000) grew by 20%, adults 18-49 (592,000) by 12% and adults 18-24 (254,000) by 10%. Additionally, a new episode of Robot Chicken (Sunday, 11:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-34, with year-over-year delivery increases (732,000) of 4%, and 7% gains among adults 18-49 (976,000).

For the first week of November 2011, Adult Swim ranked #1 on basic cable for Total Day Delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-49, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24 (#2 among adults/men 18-49, behind ESPN). Compared to the same time period last year, average adults 18-34 delivery (569,000) increased by 8%, adults 18-49 (732,000) by 2% and adults 18-24 (325,000) by 4%.

In prime time (M-F, 8-11 p.m./Sunday 7-11 p.m.), Adult Swim achieved double-digit delivery gains across all adult and male demos vs. the same time period last year: adults 18-34 (479,000) grew by 44%, adults 18-24 (250,000) by 49% and adults 18-49 (640,000) by 23%.

Adult Swim programming - including Family Guy, Robot Chicken, American Dad and Squidbillies - accounted for 25 of the top 50 telecasts for the week on basic cable among adults 18-34, and 22 of the top 50 among men 18-34, both more than any other network.

Cartoon Network

Across the first week of November 2011, Cartoon Network's Tuesday Night (7-9 p.m.) was the #1 destination on all television among boys - 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14. Versus the same time period last year, the all-animation comedy line-up grew by significant double digits across all kid and boy demos: kids 6-11 delivery (773,000) grew by 56%, kids 2-11 (1,120,000) by 82%, kids 9-14 (643,000) by 49%, boys 6-11 (567,000) by 39%, boys 2-11 (813,000) by 70% and boys 9-14 (490,000) by 43%.

Among Tuesday night original programming, The Looney Tunes Show (8 p.m.) charted double and triple-digit gains across the board vs. the 2011 time period: kids 6-11 (794,000) increased by 77%, kids 2-11 (1,160,000) by 125%, kids 9-14 (675,000) by 50%, boys 6-11 (574,000) by 56%, boys 2-11 (836,000) by 107% and boys 9-14 (505,000) by 45%.

Monday night's original animated comedies also scored among their target demos:

The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among boys 6-11.

Adventure Time (8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among kids 6-11, kids 9-14 and all boys demos.

Regular Show (8:15 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among boys 6-11 and boys 9-14

MAD (8:45 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among boys 6-11 and boys 9-14.

Friday night's animated action-adventure series Generator Rex (6 p.m.) and Young Justice (6:30 p.m.) both earned double-digit delivery gains among kids 6-11 vs. the same time period last year. Generator Rex's average kids 6-11 delivery (438,000) grew by 11% and Young Justice's kids 6-11 delivery (510,000) grew by 12%.

truTV

Coming off its biggest October ever, truTV continued its success last week with excellent 8% primetime growth among men 18-34 and men 18-49 compared to the same week last year.

Among truTV's strong performers last week, Operation Repo delivered 1.5 million viewers Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. The long-running hit ranked among ad-supported cable's Top 5 programs in the timeslot with men 18-34 and delivered double-digit time-period growth across the board.

truTV's acquired hit Wipeout continued its terrific run on Friday night, averaging 1.3 million viewers for its primetime episodes. The show ranked among ad-supported cable's Top 5 programs for the 8-10 p.m. timeslot with adults 18-49 and men 18-49. It also delivered a median of 36, a whopping 14 years younger than the same night last year.

TBS

The Big Bang Theory continues to score excellent numbers for TBS. Last week, the hit series accounted for nine of basic cable's Top 10 sitcom telecasts among total viewers and eight of the top 10 with adults 18-49. The Tuesday 9:30 p.m. episode shot to the top as basic cable's most-watched sitcom telecast for the week, with 2.5 million viewers.

TBS's late-night series CONAN grew its audience last week as Conan O'Brien returned to New York City for a week of shows. The Emmy(R)-nominated series was up 7% over the prior week among adults 18-49 (536,000), while the total audience (758,000) grew by 2%.
