"NCIS: Los Angeles," "CSI" and "Person of Interest" Deliver Largest Audiences Since Season Premieres

CBS closed out the first half of the season with its largest margin of victory in viewers and adults 25-54 and won in adults 18-49 for the fifth time in seven weeks, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 18. The Network also registered year-to-year growth in viewers and key demographics compared to the same week last year.

CBS topped second place NBC by more than five million viewers (11.37m vs. 6.21m) and by +1.3 rating points in adults 25-54 (3.8/09 vs. 2.5/06). CBS was also first in adults 18-49 (2.8/08) for the fifth time in seven weeks.

Season-to-date, CBS remains first in viewers (12.56m, +2% from last year), adults 18-49 (3.3/09, tie +3%) and adults 25-54 (4.3/11, +2%).

CBS had nine of the top 10 programs of the week in viewers (NCIS, #1; 60 MINUTES, #2; NCIS: LOS ANGELES, #4; TWO AND A HALF MEN, #5; THE MENTALIST, #6, SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC FINALE, #7, PERSON OF INTEREST, #8; CRIMINAL MINDS, #9; and MIKE & MOLLY, #10).

CBS also has seven of the top 10 in adults 18-49 (TWO AND A HALF MEN, #2, 2 BROKE GIRLS, #4, 60 MINUTES, #5 tie, SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC FINALE, #5 tie; MIKE & MOLLY, #5 tie; NCIS, #8 and CRIMINAL MINDS, #10 tie).

The Network was first in viewers on six nights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday) and first in adults 18-49 on four nights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

For the week in viewers: CBS (11.37m), NBC (6.21m), FOX (5.60m) and ABC (4.99m). Season-to-date: CBS (12.56m), ABC (9.25m), FOX (9.06m) and NBC (7.37m).

For the week in households: CBS (6.9/11), NBC (3.9/06), FOX (3.3/05) and ABC (3.2/05). Season-to-date: CBS (7.8/13), ABC (5.9/10), FOX (5.4/09) and NBC (4.7/08).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in both adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +3% in both households and adults 25-54, +2% in viewers and +4% in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and tied with FOX for first in adults 18-49 (3.3/09, each). Season-to-date, CBS is up +4% in households, +2% in both viewers and adults 25-54 and +3% in adults 18-49.

CBS won every Monday this season in adults 25-54, adults 18-49, 12 of 13 weeks in adults 18-34 and finished first in households and viewers for the third straight Monday.

? NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (10.2/15), viewers (16.40m), adults 25-54 (4.4/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08). -- CBS's late-running football from 7:00-7:34 PM posted a 17.5/30 with 29.79m viewers, 11.1/29 in adults 25-54 and 9.4/28 in adults 18-49.

? 60 MINUTES (7:34-8:34 PM) was first in households (11.2/18), viewers (18.47m), adults 25-54 (5.5/13) and adults 18-49 (4.0/12). 60 MINUTES posted the season's second-best performances in these measures (all behind the Oct. 30, 2011 broadcast).

? SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC FINALE (S) (8:34-10:43 PM) was second in households (7.3/11), viewers (13.07m), adults 25-54 (5.3/12) and adults 18-49 (4.0/10).
