FOX Remains the Only Network to Post Double-Digit Gains Among Both Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers Versus Last Fall

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 12 - 18, 2011

As the fall season comes to a close, FOX remains the only network to post double-digit gains among both Adults 18-49 (+14%) and Total Viewers (+15%) versus last fall, thanks to strong performances by GLEE, NEW GIRL, RAISING HOPE and THE X FACTOR last week. Season to date, FOX is tied as the No. 1 network among Adults 18-49 and tops all networks among Young Adults and Teens.

In addition, last week FOX had:

· 4 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: THE X FACTOR-WED (No. 9), NEW GIRL (No. 11), GLEE (No. 16) and THE X FACTOR-THU (No. 18).

· 9 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: NEW GIRL (No. 2), GLEE (No. 3), THE X FACTOR-WED (No. 7 tie), THE SIMPSONS (No. 7 tie), FAMILY GUY (No. 11), RAISING HOPE (No. 13), THE X FACTOR-THU (No. 14), ALLEN GREGORY (No. 19 tie) and THE CLEVELAND SHOW (No. 19 tie).

FOX ranked #1 on Tuesday night among Adults 18-49 (tie), Adults 18-34 and Teens.

NEW GIRL and GLEE were the No. 1 and No. 2 rated programs of the night among Adults 18-34, while GLEE was No. 1 for the night among Teens.

GLEE was even with the previous week's performance among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers (7.1 Mil.) GLEE won its 8pm hour in Adults 18-34 and Teens.

At 9pm NEW GIRL delivered a 3.3/9 and posted the same Total Viewers (6.8 Mil.) as the previous week. NEW GIRL won the 9pm half hour in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

At 9:30pm RAISING HOPE posted a 2.3/6, up +5% from the previous week in Adults 18-49 (2.2/5) and was up +9% in Total Viewers (5.0 vs. 4.6 Mil.) RAISING HOPE won its 9:30pm half hour in Adults 18-34 and Teens.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-9:31 THE X FACTOR- WED: (Adults 18-49: 3.4/10, 10.8 Mil Total Viewers)

9:31-10:00 I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER: (Adults 18-49: 1.8/5, 5.1 Mil Total Viewers)

8:00-10:00 FOX PRIME: (Adults 18-49: 3.0/8, 9.4 Mil Total Viewers)

On Wednesday, FOX ranked No. 2 for the night in Adults 18-49 and won the night among Adults 18-34 and Teens.

While viewing levels were down -3% week to week from 8-10p, THE X FACTOR posted a 3.4/10, the same as the previous week among Adults 18-49 (12/7/11, 3.4/9) and up +1% in Total Viewers (10.8 Mil. vs. 10.7 Mil.).

THE X FACTOR was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49 (tied with Criminal Minds), Adults 18-34, Teens and all female demos.

THE X FACTOR won its 8-9:30p time slot and outperformed No. 2 CBS by +6% in Adults 18-49 (3.4 vs. 3.2) and +69% in Adults 18-34 (2.7 vs. 1.6). In addition, the show grew +19% in its last half hour vs. its first in Adults 18-49 (half hours: 3.1 > 3.4 > 3.7).

At 9:30p I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER posted a 1.8/5.

THURSDAY

8:00-9:01 THE X FACTOR- THU: (Adults 18-49: 2.9/9, 9.9 Mil Total Viewers)

9:01-10:00 BONES (R): (Adults 18-49: 1.5/4, 5.3 Mil Total Viewers)

8:00-10:00 FOX PRIME: (Adults 18-49: 2.2/6, 7.6 Mil Total Viewers

FOX ranked No. 2 on Thursday night among Adults 18-49 and #1 in Adults 18-34.

With viewing usage down -4% from the previous week, THE X FACTOR results show posted a 2.9/9, the same as the previous Thursday's delivery (12/8/11, 2.9/8). In Adults 18-34, THE X FACTOR grew +5% week over week (2.2 vs. 2.1).

THE X FACTOR was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49 (tied with Big Bang Theory) and Adults 18-34, and grew +15% in its second half hour vs. its first in Adults 18-49 (2.7 > 3.1).

At 9pm an encore of BONES posted a 1.5/4 among Adults 18-49. BONES ranked No. 2 in its 9pm hour in Adults 18-49 (tie) and Adults 18-34.
