"GHOST HUNTERS" HITS SEASON HIGHS IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54
NEW YORK - February 9, 2012 - For the second consecutive week, Syfy's hit reality show Face Off set new series records in total viewers (2.2 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.2), while also establishing new highs in Adults 18-49 (1.32 million) and household ratings (1.4), during its telecast on Wednesday, February 8 from 10-11PM (ET/PT).
Face Off has grown 42 percent in Adults18-49, 30 percent in Adults 25-54 and 49 percent among total viewers in its second season-to-date compared to the season one average.
For the first time ever, Face Off, which was recently renewed for a third season, landed in the top 10 cable telecasts of the day in Adults 18-49 (#7) and Adults 25-54 (#10).
In next week's all-new Face Off episode on Wednesday, February 15 at 10PM, the contestants work in teams to complete old age make-ups on twins, but soon discover that their models are really triplets, and so the teams must devise new strategies to finish in time. Academy Award-winning make-up artist Greg Cannom (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) joins the judges' panel.
Ghost Hunters continued its audience growth, posting season highs in total viewers (2.07 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.1 million) while boosting Syfy to #3 among cable entertainment networks in both Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 during the 9-10PM period.
