Disney Channel February 12 Total Day and Prime Highlights

February 2012 marked the first time ever that Disney Channel has tied for #1 in Total Day ratings among Kids 2-11 (2.3 rating - tie) and continued its solid leadership across the kids' television landscape, ranking as TV's #1 network for the 10th consecutive month in Kids 6-11 (589,000/2.4 rating) and for the 22nd consecutive month Tweens 9-14 (482,000/2.0 rating) - both records for the network. This feat follows Disney Channel's seminal 2011 win among Kids 6-11 in Total Day, toppling Nickelodeon's 16-year record.

In Total Viewers, Disney Channel tied Nickelodeon as the month's #1 cable network in Total Day (0.6 ratings a piece), an impressive result given Nickelodeon's 33% advantage one year earlier, in February 2011 (0.6 rating vs. 0.8 rating).

Disney Channel surpassed Nickelodeon by 22% in Kids 6-11 (589,000 vs. 482,000) and by 39% in Tweens 9-14 (485,000 vs. 350,000), marking the network's 8th consecutive month holding a double-digit percent advantage.

In Prime, Disney Channel extended its streak as TV's #1 network to 84 consecutive months in Kids 6-11 (1.1 million/4.3 rating) and to 79th months in a row in Tweens 9-14 (870,000/3.6 rating), and was the #2 cable network in Total Viewers (2.4 million).

· The premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie "Radio Rebel" (2/17/12) was TV's #1 telecast in Kids 6-11 (2.0 million/8.0 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.8 million/7.4 rating) for the month.
