THE SEASON FINALE OF "THE MENTALIST" WINS ITS TIME PERIOD IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOS

The Season Finale of "Person of Interest" Places First at 9:00 PM in Viewers

CBS Wins Thursday in Viewers

The season finale of THE MENTALIST won its time period in viewers and key demographics while the season finale of PERSON OF INTEREST placed first in viewers, leading CBS to a Thursday viewer win, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for May 17.

The season finale of RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was second in households (4.6/08), viewers (7.28m), adults 25-54 (3.1/09) and adults 18-49 (2.1/07).

The season finale of PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (8.2/13) and viewers (13.35m) and second in adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07). Compared to last week, PERSON OF INTEREST was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.7/09) and added +390,000 viewers (from 12.96m, +3%). PERSON OF INTEREST posted its largest audience and best adults 25-54 ratings since April 5, 2012.

At 10:00 PM, the season finale of THE MENTALIST was first in households (8.1/13), viewers (12.96m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07) for the fourth consecutive week. Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.3/08), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/07) and added +340,000 viewers (from 12.62m, +3%).

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.1/12) and viewers (11.37m), second in adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and averaged 2.4/07 in adults 18-49.
