Disney Channel (3Q 2012)

During 3Q 2012, Disney Channel soared to its first-ever #1 ranking across all cable in Total Day, and in target kid demographics, ranked as the #1 TV network for the 3rd consecutive quarter in Kids 2-11 (1.04 million/2.6 rating), the 6th consecutive quarter in Kids 6-11 (732,000/3.0 rating) and 14th straight quarter in Tweens 9-14 (617,000/2.6 rating).

Disney Channel out-delivered runner-up Nickelodeon by its largest competitive margin ever: by 10% in Total Viewers (1.82 million vs. 1.66 million), by 20% in Kids 2-11 (1.04 million vs. 870,000), by 39% in Kids 6-11 (732,000 vs. 528,000) and by 50% in Tweens 9-14 (617,000 vs. 410,000). In fact, this marked Disney Channel's 5th consecutive quarter surpassing Nickelodeon by at least double-digit percent margins in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14. Of note, in 3Q 2011 Nickelodeon topped Disney Channel by 15% (1.89 million vs. 2.17 million).

In Prime, Disney Channel's dominance as TV's #1 network extended to 33 consecutive quarters in Kids 6-11 (1.14 million/4.7 rating) and to 56 straight quarters in Tweens 9-14 (928,000/3.9 rating). On a monthly basis, the network's streak extended to 91 straight months in Kids 6-11 and to 86 straight months in Tweens 9-14.

· Special event "Shake It Up: Made in Japan" (8/17/12, 8:00 - 9:30 p.m.) ranked as 3Q's #1 TV telecast in Kids 2-11 (3.23 million/7.8 rating), Kids 6-11 (2.75 million/11.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (2.50 million/10.2 rating).

Disney Junior: 3Q12 Highlights:

Disney Junior on Disney Channel hit 3Q highs in Total Viewers (1.53 million), Kids 2-5 (487,000/3.0 rating), Girls 2-5 (248,000/3.1 rating) and Women 18-49 (307,000/0.5 rating), driven by "Doc McStuffins," "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" and "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse," the Top 3 cable TV series across preschoolers and Top 3 preschool cable TV series with Moms.

Head to head in the preschooler daypart, the Disney Junior block out-performed Nickelodeon by a solid 33% in Total Viewers, by 21% in Kids 2-5, by 24% in Boys 2-5, by 18% in Girls 2-5 and by 18% in Women 18-49.

· "Doc McStuffins" was easily the #1 cable TV series in Kids 2-5 (696,000/4.2 rating), Boys 2-5 (330,000/3.9 rating) and Girls 2-5 (366,000/4.6 rating), and was the #1 preschool cable TV series of the quarter in Women 18-49 (382,000/0.6 rating).

· Impressively, this marked the 7th consecutive quarter the Disney Junior block has delivered the #1 cable TV series in Boys 2-5.
