NBC Late-Night Ratings Results for the Week of Oct. 15-19
NBC spins the late-night numbers for the week of October 15-19.

NBC LATE-NIGHT RATINGS RESULTS FOR THE WEEK OF OCT. 15-19

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - October 25, 2012 - Encore telecasts of NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" have averaged a 0.7 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers overall for the week of October 15-19. "Tonight" delivered bigger audiences than CBS's rebroadcasts of "Late Show with David Letterman" and the ABC time-slot competition in the hour of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in adults, men and women 18-34.

For the week at 12:35 a.m. ET, encore broadcasts of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" delivered bigger audiences than CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in adults, men and women 18-34 and adults, men and women 18-49.

Through the first four weeks of the season, "Tonight" has established a viewers 18-49 margin over "Late Show" to 4 percent (933,000 vs. 900,000), eliminating last year's "Late Show" advantage of 1 percent. Jay has also generated a viewers 25-54 advantage this season of 1 percent (1.191 million vs. 1.180 million) after trailing by 0.1 percent at this point last year, while stretching his 18-34 lead to 14 percent (317,000 vs. 277,000) from last year's 10 percent.
