"Parks & Recreation," "The Office" Encores Earn Season Highs for Rebroadcasts
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, February 28.

Thursday Results:

* At 8 p.m. ET, "Community" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall) maintained its 18-49 rating of the prior week and is currently up from last week's 3 share in 18-49 to a 4, in a competitive time period opposite CBS's encore "Big Bang Theory," Fox's "American Idol" and ABC's "Zero Hour."

* From 8:30-9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast "Parks and Recreation" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.2 million viewers overall) earned the show's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results among four encores aired so far this season.

* From 9-9:31 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Office" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall) matched the show's highest 18-49 rating among four rebroadcasts so far this season.

* From 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET, "1600 Penn" (0.9/2 in 18-49, 2.2 million viewers overall) retained 90 percent of its lead-in from an encore "Office" and in total viewers, the "1600 Penn" retention was 99 percent. "1600 Penn" finished within a tenth of a point of its 1.0 rating in 18-49 for last week, when it benefited from an original lead-in from "Parks and Recreation."

* From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (0.9//3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second in all key ratings categories. "SVU" grew half-hour to half-hour by 25 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.8) and by 18 percent in total viewers (4.1 million vs. 3.5 million), while competition on ABC and CBS declined in both categories.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.4/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.6/3 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) tied "Late Late Show" (0.4/3).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
