The Most-Watched Network Summer Premiere Since "Big Brother" in 2000

CBS Tops the Week in Viewers with Seven of the Top 10 Programs

CBS Posts Year-to-Year Growth of +21% in Adults 25-54, +20% in Adults 18-49 and +5% in Viewers

The premiere of UNDER THE DOME was the week's top program in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, leading CBS to a weekly win viewers and adults 25-54 (tie), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending June 30.

UNDER THE DOME (P) was #1 for the week in households (8.4/14), viewers (13.53m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09, tie). This was the most-watched summer drama premiere on any network since 1992 (CBS's "2000 Malibu Road") and the most-watched summer network premiere of any genre since 2000 (CBS's "Big Brother"). It was also the best delivery in adults 18-49 among any genre for a summer series premiere on CBS since June, 7, 2005 ("Fire Me").

CBS had seven of the top 10 programs: UNDER THE DOME, NCIS, THE BIG BANG THEORY, THE BIG BANG THEORY 9:30 PM SPECIAL (R) (S), 60 MINUTES, THE BIG BANG THEORY 9:00 PM SPECIAL (R) (S) and BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY.

Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +6% in households, +5% in viewers, +21% in adults 25-54 and +20% in adults 18-49.

For the week in viewers: CBS (5.72m), NBC (4.85m), ABC (3.74m) and FOX (3.28m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for first in adults 25-54 (1.7/05, with NBC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.2/04, with FOX, -0.1 behind NBC).

For the week in households: CBS (3.8/07), NBC (3.1/06), ABC (2.5/04) and FOX (2.0/04).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY (P) was first in households (4.0/07), viewers (6.51m) and adults 25-54 (2.7/08), and was tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.2/08, with FOX). Compared to the Wednesday premiere last year (on July 18, 2012), BIG BROTHER was up +11% in households (from 3.6/06), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/07) and added +730,000 viewers (from 5.78m, +13%). BIG BROTHER was the night's #1 program in viewers.

BIG BROTHER SUNDAY (P) (S) (8:00-9:00 PM) was first in households (3.6/06), viewers (5.81m), adults 25-54 (2.4/07) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06).

THE AMERICAN BAKING COMPETITION (3.3/06, 5.10m) was second in viewers, adults 25-54 (1.6/04) and adults 18-49 (1.2/04). THE AMERICAN BAKING COMPETITION matched its all-time adults 18-49 high.

UNDER THE DOME SPECIAL SUNDAY (R) (S) (9:00-10:00 PM) was first in households (3.3/06), viewers (5.09m) and adults 25-54 (1.5/04), and was tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.0/04, with ABC).
