"Parks and Recreation" Maintains 100% of Last Week's 18-49 Rating and Is Up 3% In Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, October 10.

Thursday Results (CW carried the Giants-Bears NFL game in New York):

· "Parks and Recreation" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall from 8-8:31 p.m. ET) maintained 100% of last week's 18-49 rating and is up 3% in total viewers (3.249 million vs. 3.142 million). In the time period, "Parks" ranks #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in men 18-34. L+3: Last week's "Parks and Recreation" added 38% or 0.46 of a point to its next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 1.68 in L+3 from a 1.22 in L+SD).

· "Welcome to the Family" averaged a 0.8/2 in 18-49 and 2.5 million viewers overall from 8:31-9:01 p.m. ET. "WTTF" retained 77% of its total-viewer lead-in from "Parks." L+3: Last week's "Welcome to the Family" added 15% or 0.17 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 1.27 from a 1.10).

· "Sean Saves the World" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:31 p.m. ET) built by 0.2 of a point or 25% on its lead-in in 18-49 and by 54% in total viewers. "Sean" is up 6% versus last season's NBC slot average in total viewers (3.845 million vs. 3.639 million), despite facing atypical competition last night from the special "Glee" episode that addressed the death of Cory Monteith's character. L+3: Last week's "Sean Saves the World" added 20% or 0.29 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 1.72 from a 1.43).

· "The Michael J. Fox Show" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall from 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET) built by 0.2 of a point or 20% on its lead-in. The 1.2 rating in 18-49 is down just 0.2 versus NBC's 1.4 October regular-program average in the time period last year, and in total viewers, "The Michael J. Fox Show" is up 12% (3.845 million vs. 3.443 million) versus the net's slot average last October with regulars, despite last night's atypical competition. L+3: Last week's "Michael J. Fox Show" added 33% or 0.57 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 2.31 from a 1.74).

· From 10:01-11 p.m., "Parenthood" (1,2/5 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall) is up 20% versus NBC's average in the time period last season (1.2 vs. 1.0). From its first half-hour to its second, "Parenthood" maintained 100% of its 18-49 rating (1.2, 1.2) and grew 7% among women 18-34 (to a 1.5 from a 1.4), despite the 10 p.m. hour. L+3: Last week's "Parenthood" added 52% or 0.79 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 2.31 from a 1.52).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.3/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.7/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.4/7.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.0/5.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.3/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
