ABC Wins Friday with "Shark Tank" as the #1 Show (Season High) and "20/20" Spiking Week to Week
ABC Friday Prime (8-11pm - 6.1 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): ABC ranked #1 on Friday for the 2nd week in a row among Adults 18-49 (1.5/5). The Net's Shark Tank continued to stand as Friday's #1 TV program in Adults 18-49. In fact, including last night, Shark Tank has delivered TV's Top 8 Friday telecasts this season in Adults 18-49.
· Maintaining its season high Adult 18-49 rating, Shark Tank dominated the 9 o'clock hour by 67% over its nearest competition (2.0/7 vs. 1.2/4 - CBS' Hawaii Five-0 and NBC's Grimm tied for #2). Season to date, Shark Tank is up 19% in the key young adult sales demo.
· Winning the 10 o'clock hour over CBS' Blue Bloods and NBC's Grimm, and finishing as Friday's #1 newsmagazine, ABC's 20/20 outdelivered NBC's Dateline (8-9pm) on the night by double digits in Adults 18-49 (+27% - 1.4/5 vs. 1.1/4) and Adults 25-54 (+18% - 2.0/6 vs. 1.7/5). The ABC newsmag reported on a family accused of bank robbery. 20/20 spiked week to week in Total Viewers (+18%), Adults 18-49 (+27%) and Adults 25-54 (+25%).
