CBS SURGES TO THE BIGGEST RATINGS WEEK BY ANY NETWORK THIS SEASON

Network Sweeps Week in Viewers and Key Demographics by the Season's Largest Margins�Tops Nearest Competitor By 8 Million Viewers

CBS Has Nine of the Top 10 and 15 of the Top 16 Programs

"The Big Bang Theory" and "NCIS" Deliver More Than 20 Million Viewers

"The Millers," "Hawaii Five-0" and "Blue Bloods" All Score Season-Highs in Viewers

Saturday's AFC Divisional Playoff Game is the Week's #1 Prime Broadcast

"Intelligence" Premieres to 16 Million Viewers

CBS delivered the biggest ratings week by any network this season, winning in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 by the season's largest margins, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 12.

CBS averaged 15.17 million viewers, beating second-place NBC by +8 million viewers. In adults 18-49, CBS's 3.8 for the week is the best weekly delivery for any network this season and nearly doubles second-place NBC's 2.0. CBS posted the largest weekly deliveries in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and the largest margins of victory in these measures since the week ending Feb. 3, 2013 (Super Bowl week).

For the season, CBS is now up +1% in viewers compared to a year ago.

CBS won six of seven nights in viewers and five of seven nights in viewers and key demographics.

The week included 20 million plus viewer performances by THE BIG BANG THEORY and NCIS, the season's largest audiences for THE MILLERS, HAWAII FIVE-0 and BLUE BLOODS, the series premiere of INTELLIGENCE, THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS and capped off by Saturday's AFC Divisional Playoff Game (Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots), the number one primetime broadcast of the week.

For the week, CBS had nine of the top 10 and 15 of the top 16 programs:

NCIS:

NCIS was first in viewers (20.84m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08), posting its largest audience since Feb. 19, 2013.

THE BIG BANG THEORY:

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in viewers (20.35m), adults 25-54 (7.6/20) and adults 18-49 (5.7/17). This is the largest audience ever for a regularly scheduled episode and its best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings since Feb. 7, 2013.

THE MILLERS:

THE MILLERS was first in viewers (13.61m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and adults 18-49 (3.3/10). THE MILLERS posted its largest audience to date, best adults 18-49 ratings since the Oct. 3, 2013 season premiere and best adults 25-54 delivery since Oct. 17, 2013.

HAWAII FIVE-0:

HAWAII FIVE-0 was first in viewers (10.74m) and second behind "Shark Tank" in adults 25-54 (2.4/06) and adults 18-49 (1.6/05). HAWAII FIVE-0 posted season-highs in viewers and adults 25-54 and matched its season best adults 18-49 delivery.

BLUE BLOODS:

BLUE BLOODS was first in viewers (12.68m), adults 25-54 (2.5/06) and second in adults 18-49 (1.5/05). BLUE BLOODS posted its season-best viewers and adults 25-54 performances and matched the season's second-best adults 18-49 rating.

INTELLIGENCE:

The series premiere of INTELLIGENCE (P) was first in viewers (16.49m), adults 25-54 (3.7/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/06). INTELLIGENCE posted the season's largest audience for a new series.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS:

THE 40th ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS (S) was first in viewers (10.36m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07). Compared to last year, THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS added +730,000 viewers (from 9.63m, +8%).

DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF SATURDAY:

The AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF SATURDAY scored 31.69m viewers, 12.0/30 in adults 25-54, 10.2/30 in adults 18-49, 8.3/29 in adults 18-34, 15.2/38 in men 25-54, 13.1/38 in men 18-49 and 10.5/37 in men 18-34 from 8:15-11:28 PM.
